The Urhobo nation demanded that they should be removed from the proposed map of Biafra by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Vanguard reports. This was contained in statement yesterday, November 13, by Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha, the national publicity secretary of the Urhobo Progress Union. The statement read: “IPOB have their rights of agitation for freedom of self-determination as enshrined in the United Nation declaration stressing that other ethnic groups should not be dragged along to avoid the mistake that led to the civil war. READ ALSO: Tension In South East Over Biafra Agitation “The magnanimity of Urhobos in allowing Igbos celebrate the Igbo Cultural Day should not be taken for granted as we urge IPOB to delist Urhobo from its proposed map.” Mumakai-Unagha warned that Urhobo and its territories should be counted out from any IPOB plan. The Nigerian government has described the pro-Biafrans as an “insignificant number of frustrated people who are not a threat to the existence of Nigeria.” Two days ago, Rivers Elders and Leaders said they are disturbed over the recent resurgence of the issue of Biafra and its effect on the peace-loving people of Rivers state. This was in reaction to the November 10 Biafra protest that gridlocked the streets of Port Harcourt. Eight persons including a female, alleged to be supporters of the Movement for Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), involved in the protest were arraigned by the police before a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

Yeah right.........................unless the principal actors in this scenario are not the infamous Ibos ( I-before-others) who came to Lagos as economic refugees but are now bragging about dominating yorubas- a major group, in their own backyard.

Oh well, I wish any minority group which chose to co-exist with the lustful ibos all the best of luck as they surely going to be in dire need of it, eventually.

Assuming Biafra operates the same system of government as Nigeria, is it not better to share $10bn revenue among 11 Biafran states than share sma with 37....37 Nigerian states? After FG, National Assembly, Federal Ministries, FCT, 36 states and their house of assemblies and 774 LGAs... 774 LGAs and God knows how many councillors have shared everything, what is left for infrastructure development?

With Biafra, money will have value....all these abandoned /delayed projects, substandard road... Will be a thing of the past.... Look at U.A.E, Qatar.... Life will be good unlike with Nigeria where 75% of the people suffer from childhood till death

Resources control is not possible with Nigeria ..forget it... Hausa/yoruba will rather die than let you control your resources.

Culturaly speaking, Biafra operates Parliamentary system of government .... Everybody will have a say in the government of their towns... Unlike with Nigeria where, if you have a grievance... Instead of Listening to you and deliberate on how to resolve your grievance...

They will vex you even more.... angry cheesy grin

Fulani destroy farms with their cows.. kill villagers who challenge them and rape their women....

The villagers protest.....

What does the government do? Instead of adressing the problem by banning nomadism or establish green zones for herdsmen to graze....

They send police/soldiers to tear gas and shot unarmed protesters embarassed angry

Useless country...!!.. angry

When did it become a crime to be intelligent, industrious and innovative? No wonder your country is under-developed because there is neither competition, nor innovation.

Look at everything around you.... The phones you use, the cars on your roads.... The various beautiful houses in your area.... What created them.... ... Competition ...!!!...

Look at America-Russia, Japan-china, India-Pakistan, Britain -France.... What made all these countries great and developed? ..... It is competition /domination....!!..

How do you expect to develop when you are are satisfied with peanut wages and dilapidated infrastructure ..... Instead of competing to build a better country?

If you are igbo, and other tribes deny your children Education under the guise of cut off mark instead of investing to expand educational infrastructures..... If you or your children are denied education because dull people who don't want to go to school feel you will dominate them, how will you feel...??..

If your neighbour deflate your car tires or pour water into your generator... Because he don't want you to "dominate " him since he doesn't have a car or gen.... How will you feel...?? .... Your neighbor say because his children refuse to go to school because they are not brilliant, therefore, your children must not go to school too... How will you feel?

WILL TOU REMAIN IN THAT HOUSE WITH YOUR "He Will Dominate Me " NEIGHBOR...??...

That is exactly the same thing with Nigeria .... Some people want to develop, move forward and progress ... You are holding them back with useless laws, quota system, federal character, exclusive federal list and other anti-development chains that you use to tie the country down.... ; angry angry

If I get you right, you'll rather be dominated by cattle rearers, almajiri, sharia and boko haram ...??...

I'm very sorry for you ... embarassed embarassed
