Why Is Nigerian Military Ever Ready To Quash Unarmed Protest by kettykin: 7:08am On Nov 17, 2015 |
Any body here can explain why the Nigerian military seems ever ready to quash unarmed protesters but take almost an infinite time to quash armed insurgency unless help comes from Britain, Russia, South Africa, United States. Please only constructive discuss. 1 Like |

kettykin: Logic says that they are not good. So they rig their image by shooting unarmed people... to appear strong. Rigging is a "Nigerian". But it will stop when we start holding them personally accountable. |

In a third world country like Philippines, see how the public and riot police interact. But in the zoo that is Nigeria (which is in fact a 5th world country), they mow down unarmed demonstrators. 1 Like |

Daft question obviously from a delusional igbo boy. Why is it easier for the police to arrest and unarmed robber than arresting an armed robber? 1 Like |

Op who told you they are unarmed? They are armed with the "Fundamental Truth" about Nigeria and that is more dangerous than a nuclear weapon. This is a pure psychological warfare going on. Who will win at the end is unknown. It's too early to say. You may call Buhari a dullard but he is wise enough to take Biafra threat more serious than Boko haram. |

carnegiefan: Just like Nigeria too...protests like the Biafrud have to be squashed when they begin to threaten the peace and Nation security. Wait till the protests start spining in to chaos and see how the pice will react Limiting protests clash to Nigrria only is fraud and deceitful. Worldwide there are always clashes between anti government protests and government forces |
