Breaking!!! MAN ALLEGEDLY MURDERED BY FULANI HERDSMEN; DUMPED IN A BUS IN IGBERE (Graphic Photos + Video) What Igbere people had woke up today to think as an incidence of Road Traffic Accident might have metamorphosed as a Mafia style Assassination by unknown Killers. The scene of this bizarre tragedy is along the Igbere axis of the Umuahia OHAFIA federal Road. There is a wire to the neck of the Corpse indicating that he might have been hanged andthere is no impact on the bus also indicating it is was not likely an accident. The police from Bende are on top of the matter. Many of the eye witnesses are suspecting that the murder may have been carried out by Fulani Herdsmen who have been terrorizing Igbere and other neighboring communities. It could be earlier given the heat and humidity this time of the year but it is definitely more than 24 hrs. The body was moved from the site of death. Whoever did this moved the body far from the scene of the crime in a desperate bid to cover their tracks and connection to the victim. This will make the killer(s) to be some one close to the victim. Body dumping usually happens when a murder is committed in rage or passion. This does not excuse the fact that there might have not been a motive for murder. The car, if not owned by the victim, was stolen specifically to move the body. Given that the body remained in the bus we can assume only one person was present with the body. If there were two people the body would have been dumped in the bush and that will require at least two people. There is however the fact that there might have been more than one individuals involved but maybe at the time of dumping the body they noticed other people around. It will also be helpful to know if a police checkpoint was near the car location as this may cause the killer(s) to panic and abandon the bus. I don't think Fulanis will go through any trouble disposing the body as they are known to just leave the crime scene and relocate out of state. Identifying the body is one step towards unravelling the motive and murderers. |

The report says herdsmen have been terrorizing the community, hence the villagers suspect them. You only need to visit Plateau State to have an idea of what Fulani herdsmen can do. That was the same way some people said Fulani don't do kidnapping when Pa Falae was kidnapped. |
