Many Nigerians are wicked and actually hateful of good things. No wonder you get the type of leaders you have. Those posting and reposting those dirty pics on this thread.

Oyind17:

Can that woman selling pepper in the market be able to treat her child in this hospital? That's the most important thing not just the beauty of the place.

InyinyaAgbaOku:

Well, we don't want pepper sellers. Just as every hungry person chooses the class of restaurant that he can afford, health care delivery follows same way.
What is wrong with having an upscale hospital around? Must we travel far to access everything in Nigeria?
Yes, let rich people see where they will treat their children in Anambra and Nigeria at large.

People that are not used to aesthetics are usually scared of being reminded they are poor. What is making u think the hospital will cost billions if not for the neat environment and well manicured lawns? Is that not how a hospital is supposed to look like?

I commend the initiative, but will be lot better if a health programme can be considered for the poor, if not the the society has failed, that is what @oyind17 is trying to make out. They also built private schools that only the very rich can afford and allow the poor starve with poor education. You don't just wave off the less privileged as though they do not matter. Remember, the very poor if not well handled by any government or society, can turnout to become security threat to the society and nation at large. How many % rich and educated people really voted in the last election that ushered in Buhari, not up to 30%. One of the reasons the poor voted massively for APC was because they believe that the APC with Buhari at the helm of affairs, will fulfill their campaign promises to improve their standard of living, though they never knew it was a scam. APC was smart to catch them because election is a game of numbers.

Lets not only think of ourselves but of others if we must be our brothers keeper.

It's surprising how you all now expect a private person who has not ruled Nigeria/Anambra State, and as far as we know has not stolen from Nigeria/Anambra State to be the one to start giving citizens cheap hospital care. What is supposed to be the role of govt at all levels?

Nobody is saying that its not the role of the government to carryout people oriented programmes. We are all in this country, we all know government has failed woefully. What is the reason of the Biafra/IPOB sovereignty agitation, its because our so called government has disappointed.
But do we that are privileged give up others that are not so privileged? Think.

And who says the owner of this hospital is not already rendering philanthropic services in many areas of life? Remember he is an Igbo man and wealthy Igbos are known for their philantrophy.

If anything, the fact that this is located in SE is heartening. At least this one did not take this investment to ''hostile'' areas. SE needs to be developed beyond its current state, and if the govts at all levels are failing woefully, the citizens of Igboland should take up the gauntlet.

Bros, I am so shocked by some of the arguments of these folks you are contending with. Now I know why the Nigerian leaders get away with nearly everything and steal the nations money: the citizens are dumber than their leaders. They live those to ''face'' and begin to ''face'' others. grin grin grin grin

D man in question is a noble man from my town..OKIJA,ANAMBRA STATE.
D hospital u re looking at is built inside a village nd some of u guys think it's costly??....it's very cheap...d money 4rm d hospital goes to his foundation (obijackson children's foundation ). He pays d staffs 4rm his own pocket.
Someone who shares more than 1000 bags of rice..5000+ cartons of tomatoes etc to d whole community starting from December 1st to December 31st and den shares to widows only on January's.
Someone who makes available 20million naira every December for his football tournament (obijackson football tournament ) across all 21 LGA on Anambra and those with exciting talent gets d opportunity of all expenses paid to Spain to continue der football careers.
someone who organised a multi million naira beauty pageant show at okija every December 28th (face of okija). Wer 1st price goes with 5million naira and a car and so on.... A show wer we see not less than 5 artists. Last year was d biggest...with d Mavin Dynasty performing der dorobucci live including P square, Wizkid, Phyno and the rest....even d governor of d state is present alongside other governors, Gate fee free. And somebody somewhere thinks this man cares for a one naira ($1) from that hospital?
He also have a construction company here in Okija.....and also an oil rig worth 5million dollars.....The highest Nigerian shareholder at Julius Berger company Lagos........Built a bank an then donate it free of charge to diamond bank thereby inviting them to come and work there only insisting that his people (Anambra) will be employed der nd also freely do der IT der..for undergraduates.
This man does not care about d naira from dat hospital, he pays d staffs from his pocket. Dats Philanthropy
