But they call for AGF and INEC chairman to resign!

Pls tell me what specific development PDP was against then?

Waiting........
PDP called for their resignation because of the following reasons:

1. APC is to substitute it's governorship candidate while election is still ongoing! This clearly violates section 36(1) of the electoral act. The law clearly stipulates that such should be done 14 days before the election and if the election is already nearby, it be postponed such that the elections is done 14 days after the substitution.

2. INEC is no longer independent as it is relying on the AGF to take a decision on the matter.

Those were the specific developments PDP was against.

I have very lil disagreement with the law scholar, he made refer to the spirit of the law been more or should be more superior to the letter, which comes to bare that the law is actually made for man & not man made for the law, in other word, common sense or necessity should be placed about certain lacuna in the constitution. Will draw my logic from greater percent of the voters voted for the candidate not the party, which should give room for a total cancellation of the entire processes.

can you please separate the votes accrued to faleke from the total votes gotten by the APC? If you cannot, then Faleke is the rightful candidate by law. Not even a governor can remove a deputy based on the fact that the votes belong to both of them.

That's the point. He isn't yet a Deputy governor. He is a mere running mate. He is insignificant unless the Governor has been sworn in.

Only a result with Faleke as the governor is acceptable in the eyes of the law! Details:
