With all this stunts from wada then Audu's family aint far from the truth when they called wada's tears at the burial a mere nollywood scene. Who knows if the tinubu news actually came from his camp just to divert attention.

APC led FG and INEC should stop complicating issues and do the right thing. Either Wada is declared Governor elect or a fresh election should be conducted

On what ground please? You sounded like a Wada loyalist. Can we be more rational in the way we reason please?

This so call lawyers don't even know how to reason. INEC isn't conducting supplementary election because Audu is dead, they are conducting it because the election was inconclusive.

The reason for the election being inconclusive is because the number of votes apc leads pdp is not more than the number of invalid or cancelled votes.
rubbish!! what are u explaining? He is rather going to court to invalid the votes I f the deceased candidate and praying the court to declare the first runner up winner which is him.
Re: Kogi Poll: Wada Heads To Court by Okanokan(m): 4:05pm On Nov 26, 2015
I don't know where Wada and Pdp is leading us to, if the the Federal High Court Lokoja grant this request, Nigeria will become a POLITICAL KILLING FIELD where opponents prior to announcement of result will kill themselves so that LOSERS will be pronounced WINNERS.
There nothing wrong for the AGF to approach the Supreme Court for Constitutional Pronouncement.
Re: Kogi Poll: Wada Heads To Court by omoakin111: 4:05pm On Nov 26, 2015
Only in Nigeria will the vote of a dead man be counted with supplementary vote of a new man alive introduced when the election was 80 complete to get the total vote cast for the winner. APC NIGERIA I HAIL THEE.

Electoral act indicate dat any aspirant 2 any electoral post Must come under political party which means any candidate in any election is just a representative of dat party 2 attain their political goals ok Who is Audu Who is APC as a party?? Can the death of a representative invalidate d goal & objective of a party or any organization?? Sorry failed case!!!!!:::::::
If ur logic is anything to go by. Why is it that when those candidates fielded by the parties, crosses carpets, they stil retain the mandates they obtained under the party? Since it is the party's manifesto and not the candidates credibility that is being voted. Why wouldn't the candidates relinquish the mandates they obtaine under their parties when decamping? Just answers my freind. Let us not make our law an ass. Or a tool for intimidation.

With the recent information from INEC that the number of PVC collected out of the 49000 voters is actually 38000 from the said polling booths where elections were rescheduled there was no need of declaring the election inconclusive hence Faleke should go to court to demand that the mandate be handed to him because INEC erred.

The number of votes Audu/Faleke had is 41000 more than Wada hence 38000 PVCs collected couldn't have stopped returning Audu/Faleke elected by INEC

but are u to blame wada for the death of audu? I know your answer will be "no". Since the AGF doesn't want to go buy your suggestion of approaching the Supreme Court, he leaves not room but for wada than to approach the court.

Then, with your reason the election was inconclusive because the margin between the leading candidate is not up to that of the second place. Now the leading candidate is dead means the second carry the vote
For example, if Osain Bolt (God forbid) fall than and die a step to his victory and the man behind him overtake him. who win or will d race b counsel?

I think I do get your analogy. However, have you tried to consider the implications if opponents begin to take advantage of this loophole? Simply put, by orchestrating the demise of opponents.

It can't be up to 38k. The figure was 25k. INEC goofed by not declaring Audu the governor. Period. They should just renege their schedule for the supplementary elections and declare Audu the governor and then let his Deputy be sworn in. Any other thing contravenes the law.

Foul!

The difference between Audu and Wada was 41k. The number of accredited voters expected in the supplementary elections is 25k. INEC should've declared Audu the governor. Period.

So Wada would seek to circumvent the law by praying the court to declare him winner?

The Law never said anything about disqualification of the entire party on account of the flagbearer's death...

He's not even asking for a cancellation....

I think what Wada should be doing is praying the court to rule on the next step and not trying to get ahead!

*I don't blame him sha... He's being conned by hungry lawyers into believing he could win this one!

Not surprised at Wada. Politicians often hire crooked lawyers who think like them. Let's see what the judge would decide.

Poor attitude of a failure.

Inec would be wrong to allow two contestants gerner votes for APC while others present only one contestant per party. A fresh elections should be the ideal after APC must have concluded the new primaries. This is what Wada suppose to argue in court

My figure is correct. It's 38000 plus a few hundreds which is approximately 2000 less than Audu/Faleke advantage

So they cannot even get up to 30k voters... It's a lost battle... Meanwhile both APC and PDP are shit... They only care about themselves...

with this your statement now, no b u dull pass? Why APC no honour their candidate by staying away from the planned supplementary election? Na APC b the bereaved party here, not PDP. They should boycott the supplementary in honour of their candidate.

Who Will INEC Declare The Winner In Any Event Where The Supplementary Election Favors The APC? Will They Declare APC Winner Or A Candidate (Of A Party)? If They Declare A Candidate From APC, Who'll Will The Candidate Be And On What Laws Will They Premise The Person's Nomination As Candidate Of The APC At This Material Time? It's A Big Twist And Will Take More Than Wishful Thinking. The Obvious, Most Reasonable And Legitimate Thing To Do At This Time Is Either Declare Wada Winner Or Conduct Fresh Election In Kogi.

What a way of reasoning declare Wada the winner? Not even conducting fresh election..... I laugh in swahili... Declare Wada the winner of the election he was losing... I know Nigerian constitution is nothing to write home about but I don't think it's that useless....
Re: Kogi Poll: Wada Heads To Court by Baboo13(m): 4:45pm On Nov 26, 2015
Naa this case does not hold water

Infact PDP can just wait for the supplementary to be over and go to court based on APC having primaries during an election process

That'll have been a more legitimate case

Bet Who are their lawyers sef? sad
