Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has vehemently
spoken out again telling President Muhammadu Buhari
to stop lying to Nigerians and the international
community about the return of stolen funds to the
current government, but should get to work stressing
that the president’s attitude was yet to change from
that of 1984 when he was military head of state.

The governor said this as a form of reprimand on the
president over a statement attributed to him as saying
that many of those who looted public treasury in the
government of former President Goodluck Jonathan had
started returning the stolen funds to the government.
Fayose who said this in a statement today, November
26, through his spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, urged the
president to rather stay at home to govern the country
instead of junketing around the globe and “acting like a
saint” before the international community, Premium
Times reports.

Fayose belongs to the opposition party. He is not expected to agree to the fact that his party 'Thieftains' that looted in the last administration are returning their loots. As for the junketing, we are hoping that Mr President will start sending delegates to some less sensitive global meetings rather than flying all himself.
