Judiciary Workers To Embark On Strike Over Unpaid Salaries - Dailypost.ng by saintchibu(m): 3:03am On Nov 27, 2015
The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, has called on the Accountant General of the Federation and the Ministry of Finance, to pay the salaries owed federal judicial workers in the country or it would embark on a nationwide strike.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja yesterday, the National president of JUSUN, Comrade Mustapha Marwan said the Federal Government should not take the peaceful nature of the union for granted.
According to Mustapha, judiciary workers across the federation would not hesitate to embark on a sympathy strike over the plight of their counterparts at the federal level, if the problem of unpaid salaries is not addressed.
Marwan said, “We are calling on the Accountant General of the Federation, Budget Office and the Ministry of Finance to do all they can to pay federal judicial workers and judicial officers across the country.
“We cannot accept the situation where since October our members at the federal have not been paid salaries and this has brought untold hardship on the workers who can’t pay bills as well as their children’s school fees.
“We call on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene as judiciary workers across the country may embark on solidarity protest against this anti-workers practice on their members at the federal level, because an injury to one, is an injury to all”.
The JUSUN National President observed that workers should not be made to suffer because of mismanagement of state resources by politicians.

NB: They no even tell people wetin dey hold the salary!
