am usually not comfortable with any story reported by THISDAY. Not for anything but since the appointment of Adeniyi as presidential spokesperson, their reporting has always been one sided in favour of federal govt

does anyone have any evidence to challenge the contents of that report?

no need for unfounded speculations.

meanwhile a few soldiers have also been killed in cold blood (regardless of what anyone thinks these are innocent soldiers taking orders from a higher authority)

at the end of the day the fighting is in no one's interest

@mikeansy. You seem not to get the point.this guy was a high profile militant that should have given useful information.here are some reasons the murder is questionable.

1-he is rumoured to have links with state govt

2-its not normal for a suspect of that level to be taken by 12midnight to his hideout.

3-he was the only casualty in the shoot-out

The reasons go on and on.if peace must be achieved,we should know the truth.one truth i know is that NOT ALL IJAWS ARE MILITANTS and should therefore not suffer for the CRIMES OF FEW.

Here come the foolish Nigerian way of reasoning.

Fufuheads, if the police wanted him dead they would have killed him the day he was arrested, before anyone know about him and claim he got killed in a shootout.

No need parading him first.

And stop believing the crap criminals who call themselves MEND are throwing at you.
