James Faleke, the running mate of Late Prince Abubakar Audu has officially written to INEC indicating his withdrawal from Saturday's supplementary Gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
He was to remain as running as running mate of the newly selected Governorship candidate by APC, Yahaya Bello.
The moves by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to replace James Faleke with Olumoroti as the running mate of Yahaya Bello has suffered setback after Olumoroti rejected the offer.

We all know that the deadline for submitting names to INEC is over!

My Question is, What happens to the APC ticket? Is it Still Valid?

APC nor try o! Why dem go wan remove the running mate wen na him and the late governors hip candidate hosso the votes wen lead to the re-run? Not good at all

At this stage, i doubt INEC will accept any other name. the constitution and electoral act frowns at that

He can't write to INEC directly of withdrawal from the race but through his party, APC. The party is simply unperturbed by his actions, once the party's candidate is declared governor-elect, he automatically becomes deputy governor-elect. Only the courts can make further declarations.

Hmmm! Nice point, but is there any part of the constitution you can quote to back this up? or you're just speculating using common sense?

Apc and their lack of sorting things out internally. This is d so called faleke dt was talking abt party supremacy when saraki emerged d Senate president. All these are obvious reasons dt apc aren't ready to be d leading party in Nigeria, it was just hell bent in outsteading Jonathan's govt without preparing for d big shoe.

If you were in Faleke's shoes, what would you have done?

Without Faleke, the election will be declared null and void, and fresh election involving all political parties will be conducted again.
