The nation should know why this law will pass....

The entire political class is behind it

Dino Melaye beat his wives and it was everywhere on social media. The records are there and he was embarrassed by the incident. Even his garage is on social media.

Bukola Saraki has been humiliated by social media too.

Goodwill Akpabio has been ridiculed by social media. Especially the stories about him and babes.

There is not one politician in Nigeria that doesn't stand to gain from social media clampdown.

It is a law created to benefit them, of course they'd fight tooth and nail to push it.
Nigerians wouldn't complain if for one law of this nature four would originate to our benefit but no, every bill to the benefit of Nigerians keep taking a backseat to oppressive ones.

They should revert back to the implementation of decrees since what we've now is no different.
