Anyone listening to Dayok is only wasting his/her time. I can school you on Anatoly Timo. He lives in my backyard.
He is way past his prime (and lately for some reasons, he has turned into a goal keeper, handling the ball anyhow right in the box wink).

BM can already boast of leadership quality which is mostly what he brings to Zenit  or do you think he will be your captain?  cheesy
He is a good addition to the squad but for that amount, abeggi!

You feel that amount is justified only because he is going to BM and not to any EPL team. Else you would have raised fire here. Wait, did you just compare him to Zidane? That's an insult.

Mario Gomez- one of the best strikers in europe?  and you have the nerve to compare him to DD? Dayok, STOP WATCHING THE BUNDESLIGA!!!. That guy misses sitters that even my GrandMother will not with her back to the goal.

PS: I'm ready to take my words back if for some reasons he springs back to life and wins the BundesLiga. tongue cool

Laporta expecting offers to come in for Eto'o

Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants to keep Samuel Eto'o at the Nou Camp but expects to receive some tempting offers for the Cameroon striker this summer.

Eto'o has only a year remaining on his contract and if Barca do not cash in this summer or renew his contract they face the possibility of losing him for nothing next June.

Speculation is mounting that the treble-winners will use him as part of a cash plus player deal to snap up Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while the 28-year-old has also been linked with a move to Manchester City.

Barca would be stupid to sell eto for zlatan. There is nothing that points to him performing any better than eto has done for Barca.

don't mind me grin. At this moment we are yet to buy or sign a single player aside DS who actually came for free. Every other stuf is mere speculation.
Eto'o performed massively for Barca season in season out. Why would they want a selfish striker like Zlatan?
Good strikers are always in demand sha.

The biggest banter in today's British newspapers is the potential for a mouth-watering strike partnership at Manchester City. Carlos Tevez and Samuel Eto'o to form a dream £50m strike partnership for Manchester City (The Mirror, The Times).
Barcelona president Joan Laporta admitted: "The market is very dynamic and there could be surprises. (Eto'o) is a wanted man and we know he'll receive offers". Diego Forlan has also been linked with a move to Eastlands.

Kaka seems destined for Madrid

Adrian Galliani, Cheif executive of AC Milan said "The reasons for the departure of Kaka are solely economic. Even a great heart must confront the situation and make choices. Milan cannot go on losing 70 million euros (£61 million) a year."

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian prime minister, has not sanctioned any move yet and has said he will talk to Kaka on Monday before making a decision

Spanish Press: Inter President Moratti In Barcelona To Sell Ibrahimovic

Any move for the former Ajax star would likely involve a substantial amount of money and possibly Samuel Eto'o moving in the other direction to the San Siro.

In fact, according to tuttomercatoweb, the meeting between Moratti and Barcelona officials is taking place at the Hotel Majestic, where the agent of Eto'o is also present.

The Corriere dello Sport adds that the deal has received the blessing of Jose Mourinho and Inter will receive approximately €30 million plus the Cameroon international. The negotiations will continue into the night, but a successful resolution is expected.

Juventus names Ciro Ferrara as coach.

Ciro Ferrara became the latest inexperienced coach to land a top European job when he was confirmed as the permanent manager of Juventus.

The 42-year-old was the standout candidate after Bari coach Antonio Conte, the ex-Juve captain, and Roma's Luciano Spalletti announced they would be staying at their clubs.

Ferrara, a former Juventus defender and youth team manager, will step down from his role as an assistant to Italy coach and former Juve boss Marcello Lippi.

Real Madrid Confirm Franck Ribery Interest
Florentino Perez has officially announced that Franck Ribery is another one of his transfer targets.
Ribery is now Perez' third target after Kaka and no other than Xabi Alonso. It is not yet known how much the winger would cost Madrid, but earlier reports suggest that Bayern have slapped a €100 million price tag on their star asset
Zinedine Zidane, who is an advisor to Perez, could potentially become a vital factor in bringing Ribery to the Bernabeu. The two have an excellent relationship and Zidane is known to be a big fan of his countryman.
Real sporting director Zinedine Zidane has urged Perez to target Ribery ahead of Ronaldo, but Perez admits that the club have still to discuss a deal with Bayern.

No rumours, no faffing about and no stalling/delays, just straight up acquisitions

Not that. . . . its Eto'o i'm concerned about - if he goes to Inter, i fear for his career under JM.

I'll really be pissed at Pep & the Barca legion - this is no way to repay a man who has given his all to em!
Pretty sure Pep never really liked Eto'o.

- zlatan to Barca?
- Drogba to inter?

- benzema to?

I think Ribery is the better winger and definitely the better value
CR seems to be more of an unorthodox SS
any other players worth considering for top right winger?

Ibrahimovic currently earns a salary of 12 million euros per annum, and would want more from barca. For someone, who has failed to deliver on the biggest stage, that is too much money.
