Ex-militant Leader Tompolo Shuns Efcc’s Invitation Over N13bn Land Fraud by favAMEBO(f): 9:30am On Dec 18, 2015
Former Niger Delta militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, a.k.a Tompolo, may have truly carried through with his statement not to honour the invitation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in connection with a N13 billion allegations of fraud.
As at 5:30p.m yesterday, after the seven days ultimatum issued to him by the anti-graft commission, Tompolo is yet to appear at the Lagos office of the EFCC as he was directed to.

This leaves him with the risk of being declared wanted as threatened by the EFCC in its December 9, 2015 statement, which read that he should make himself available to officers of the commission at its Ikoyi-Lagos office or risk being declared wanted over alleged unlawful dealings in the sale of parcels of land estimated to be around N13 billion, property of the Federal Government under the past administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

The statement, which was signed by commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, was issued on the evening of Wednesday December 9, explaining that Tompolo was needed to answer questions on an alleged scam, which involved the land where the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency University is located in Delta State.
