oluite:I have never seen brown rice anywhere around but one great substitute is this local paddy rice or ofada rice, its raw and not processes just like the "brown rice" |

well from what i read on google brownand white rice have bout the same caloric value. but brown rice is more nutritous. it could actually beofada rice logsfor yesterday 23 mins of taebo exercise 2 wraps of moin moin with lipton moin moin again wit fruit 1 orange moin moin again and 4 spnof fried rice 2 meat pies evening exercise: walked for bout an hour woa lol kept eating moin moin cosi was hungry nd i knew it was safer dan noodles or rice. |

Tuesday 10th July Tae Bo Ultimate Upper body workout - 50 mins Skipping - 300 @Echala- all the best with the Insanity program, can't wait to see your results. I've always thought about taking this challenge some day..I know it costs quite a bit, but the results speak for themselves. Do keep us posted with how you are getting on. can't wait to see your before/after pics! @taitee- nice workout . Brown rice has the husks on it and shorter grains. Basically it's unrefined. more nutritious and it is an acquired taste! Your post also reminded me to soak some beans this morning to make some moi-moi later. Cheers its definitely a good choice if you have the munchies than loading up on carbs. |

Yesterday's Food Log 7:20am - 1 cup coffee + 1 sugar 7:45am - 3 Kisses Chocolate 12:30pm - 2 cups beans + 1 piece fish + 5 slice plantain. 8:00pm - 1 piece fish pepper soup + 3 tbsp rice + 4 slice plantain 9:00pm - 1 meatpie |

Lol Hour_Glass: Yesterday's Food Log ^^Btw easy on the plantain o, I always knew they were high in calories but never realised how much until recently. There are aprox 65 cals per slice of plantain! so I've had to demote my beloved plantain to the odd occasion as I can't just eat 1 or 2 slices only... |

Goodmorning peeps....how are we doing...? So my meal for last night was 3 pieces of chicken with a handful of gari....did a 40 minutes of cardio, a mixture of jumping jacks, squarts with the use of dumb-bells, press-ups, jumping ropes, planks, sit-ups etc...i basically mixed cardio and pilates together, did 30 minutes of cardio and 10 minutes of pilates.... I am presently detoxing so not eating much, but the tea is a killer, i feel so much cramps, i have just taken it for two days, i am stopping it, too much cramps in my stomach, i will use the other tea am used to.....i no fit scream... @babs2011 did not know that there are so many calories in plaintain oooo.....great, good to know.... @HG, let us know the new steps oooo, i am so interested..... |

^are you sure the sugar in the tea wasnt the cause of the cramps. Assuming you added sugar. It can sometimes have that effect if taken continuously. Sorry to gatecrash the thread. |

tpia@: No not at all, don't use sugar for those type of teas'....drink it black...it does not even taste right with sugar....that tea is very effective, i have to drink it once a day and my stomach will be flushed....but i just hate the intermittent pain....i can't fit ....thanks....i was wondering what you were doing on the thread when i saw your name ....abi you have some few tips for us ni |

Taitee, i actually use green tea or diet tea...to detoxify....sometimes i drink water and eat just vegetables, something that will make me pee more and have more bowel movement....it helps cleans the liver and so on....i tried doing a body wrap detoxification.....i don't know what it did, i only know that it made my skin smoother and silkier.... Even yoga...can help you detoxify..... |

HG, Dearie so sorry for scaring you this way.....let me give you the sequence of events. 1.My phone(permanently logged in) was stolen(robbed in lagos@my cousin's place and was depressed for about a week)alongside other valuables on the 2nd of june. 2.My password was rejected and i did a reset(when i decided to rejoin the living ;D0 which was sent to my modath box. 3.My Yahoo box refused to open since then,unbelievable!!!!!!
