Most men's philosophy is deny, deny, deny-so it's up to you to use that keen women's intuition and decide if he's worth the trouble of snooping after and/or eventually ending the relationship because of it. Either that or you can take him to one of those talk shows and make him take one of those lie detector tests.

If he is still nervous when receiving calls from her, then the dude's heart is not solely with you She still has a hold on him and he could defect to her camp anytime.

How frequent does she call him? Does he talk to her in your presence or slink away to receive her calls? Does she know another lady (you) is in the picture?

Personally, I would make sure I get all the answers before embarking on such relationship. It is one thing for a guy to cheat on you and you find out in shock, than to start beating yourself up later that you got played and that you should have listened to your feminine instinct that there was something fishy going on.
