"I have to keep running, I have to get away" Munirat said to herself over and over again as she ran. It was very dark as it was almost midnight, and Munirat could not see where she was going. But, she was determined to keep running, she didn't have a second to waste. She had to get as far away as possible. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't see the headlights of the car that was coming her way fast, until it was too late...

She could tell he was desperate and something bothered him. But, she decided not to concern herself with it. She wrapped her legs around him, without breaking their lip contact...

Munira stared at the handsome doctor who was asking her questions.
"So, you don't know what your name is?" the doctor asked again. And, for the hundredth time, Munira shook her head.
"How did I get here, what's going on?" she asked the doctor.
"You were in an accident, your guardian will be here soon." The doctor answered.
"Accident?"
"Just relax, you have to rest for now. All your questions will be answered later." The doctor said, and Munira could only nod.

"So you are saying, she can't remember anything?" Tunde asked. He had rushed down to hospital immediately after the call. He now sat in the doctor's office, thinking how cruel life can be.
"Unfortunately, that is the situation. But, apart from the memory loss, she seems very fine. We still need to run some tests on her before she can be discahrged." The doctor said.
"Discharged? Where will she go? We don't have any of her family's contact." Tunde asked.

"Thanks" Munira said, as Tunde turned to leave.
"I'll let you rest for now, you can come down later for dinner when you are ready." Tunde answered.
"Alright, thank you. I'll be down after I freshen up." She said to an empty room, as Tunde had already left the room.
Munira shrugged and looked around the room, it was gigantic, the walls were white just like the rest of the house. The king size bed was neatly laid with a silk black bedspread , she opened the bathroom door and was impressed with what she saw....

Munira knew that sooner or later, Tunde would find out that her memory was intact. She needed a plan, she hated being a liability to anyone. That was why she had married Femi in the first place. But, that marriage had turned out to be a disaster. She had to do something to earn her keep in the house, so she headed to the kitchen.
