baralatie:
If you have an internal economy and not leakages of payments on importation of petroleum payments, cars, rice, poultry, fish etc
Cutting spending during recession will simply deepen the recession.
---
If government cuts spending, the real economy will suffer. Many industries that depend on government spending will go under. There will massive retrenchments. Corporate profits will drop, government tax will drop, the stock market will crash (burning people's wealth), etc.
---
Government will need to decouple the private sector from government spending before trying any spending cuts.
