I no blame you minister, why won't NYSC come to stay, when you put all your children in a safe place, why won't you tell other people's children to to and suffer and die....If Nysc should stay, let them stop rejecting corp members and let them post them to their area of specialisation and stop being bias, how will you post a doctor graduate to an hospital and post an engineering graduate to the school? Nysc is not helping most graduates to be efficient in their profession. |

It should be scrapped,, or if not they should post corpers to their field line and also increase their pay cos not everyone should be teaching, the most annoying part is dat some are posted to nursery schools... 1 Like |

NYSC has outlived its usefulness n ofcos!, should b scraped . If 4 anything , the NYSC is nw a waste of both human n financial resources , many youth corpers die every year as a result of: accident, political or religious crises!, I still remember hw so many corpers wia slaughtered lyk rams by some religious fanatics so tym ago in JOS, Plateau st. I dnt tink dis d type of NYSC dat was envisaged by our leaders, infact all d billions of naira spent yearly by d FG 2 finance NYSC in various ways could b used 2 establish giant industries in d 36 states! . Most painfull of it all is dat after d 1 year national service ,thousands of our university n polytechnic graduates still roam d street 4 a number of yrs b4 gettin gainful employment , so in my own opinion , NYSC has lost its value n should b scraped 2 save our future leaders 4rm untimely death! 1 Like |

It's total bull-crap and nothing but a waste of one full year. How can one year work experience in a primary or secondary school make you ready for administration duties? They should think well abeg. |

cornoil: Minister of Youth Development and Sports, Mr. Solomon Dalong gains the most from the Youth Program (better yet that's all he oversees) if Minister Dalong wants to leave a proper mark in Nigeria, it will be advisable he scraps the program. Nigerian youths need the opportunity to compete on a global stage (no other country has programs like this) as a result, removing a 1 year (NYSC) is highly crippling to the youth and the economy. |

Left for me I don't think NYSC should be scrap out. Because speaking from experience, it has rely expose me wildly. I now that what's in Lagos can also be found in Delta and besides they are lot of competition there cause its crowded with people and ideas. I also get meet and make new friends and also get connections, learn about other people lifestyle and language as well. Also help the country to reach out to the helpless community. The death of our corpers by boko haram is Nigeria problem. Because it affect everyone, because they kill anybody regardless who |
