Boko Haram terrorists have raided a community in Borno on Monday night injuring several villagers and carting away foodstuffs and livestock.

The Islamic militants stormed the remote village of Toshia in Chibok local government area of Borno state on Monday night, injured some villagers, burned down some huts before taking away foodstuffs and livestock.

A local vigilante, Aliyu Ba'na, disclosed that the villagers fled when they sighted the terrorists.

'' we are are having telecommunications problems in Chibok and environs, there was an attack on Monday night in Toshia village where the insurgents injured some villagers, but there was no loss of life.''

He added that '' the village was burnt down, all livestock was carted away, and foodstuffs were equally looted though the military has taken a proactive step by protecting Chibok town. As a result, all routes linking to Chibok are barricaded, '' Ba'na said.

More than 200 schoolgirls were abducted by the terrorists in April 2014 at Government Girls Secondary school in Chibok and their whereabout remains unknown, according to President Muhammadu Buhari, who addressed the issue of the missing schools in his maiden media chat last week.

Nigerians really love their homeland/place of origin, because I frankly don't get why people are still staying in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe. I would have left there many years ago.

Hopefully, peace returns soon so that their suffering will end.

Still wonder why Nigerians dont also blame the police whenever BH strikes. Seems the police officers in those zones dont do jack sh*t.
