Good! Now answer ur question! Is the practice of ur religion one that really represents it as that of peace? Have they denounced islam that refuse to live in peace with others? Do they promote peace by their actions?

You are getting this thing wrong. Your views shows you are replying by what you see and hear and not what you know.

Why will u use the actions of a certain pple or government to judge a whole religion? Why arent they taken the responsibility for their action.

Let me ask you, can everything done by Israel, America, Uk, etc be used to jugde christianity? In those countries, their is no holiday for Eids, you didn't refer to that. Isreal is brutally mudering pple in palestians, Gazan, etc is that what christianity teaches?

What I'm saying in essence is that the action of some pple can't be used to jugde a religion. Not even everything done is saudi arabia is islamic. Saudi operates of Absolute monarchy which islam oppose to.

Sir, Judge people by their actions and not their religion? Thanks!

Interpretation of the Quran is a big issue on it own. Interpreting the Quran has recieved a widespread arguement among scholars.

Like Hebrew, Arabic words has range of meanings in terms of context. They are sometimes ambiguos and needs proper undestanding with literary, cultural and historical content before interpretation.

I dont think their are specific guidelines un translating the Quran but their are indeed way in which scholars do in interpretin them. Interpretation of Quran is known as "Tafseer".

On muslim fighting their grounds in other countries. This must be done in some certain legal ways accepted by the nation.

Upon entry into a nation or granting of visa, you have been binded by a convenant. A convenant of security. Their are certain obligations you must oblige urself to eg paying tax, etc. The Quran say; "Oh you who believe, fufil ur obligation."

Being inside the country, you have being binded by oath or convenant. The Quran says: "and fulfil every convenant. Verily you will be held accountable to it." this clearly show Muslim must oblige to the law of foreign land they resides.

If at all they are to fight for their grounds. It must be done in a legally acceptable ways by the government of that nation because they ae already binded by convenant.

The difficulty involved in creating a consistent guidelines for interpreting the Quran, makes a value judgment on other Islamic sects subjective at most. Dont you think so?

Imagine a corrupt State with decaying institutions and laws like Nigeria, incapable of delivering justice. How effective would a Muslim's efforts be under these circumstances?

Also wouldn't Quranic law override secular laws?

Yeah, U are quite right. This is a certain reason why terrorism is gaining ground around the world in the name of Islam.

Also, I must really appreciate you for the kind of approach you've given. You 've got the most sound mind among everyone I've engaged on this thread.

For purposes of education, Israel is Jewish and not Christian. Palestinians are not folding their hands, they started the offensive first.

Actions taken by the US and UK are usually for their political and financial interests, never for religious reasons and certainly not in the name of Christ! On the other hand these muslims kill and destroy in the name of Allah. Why is that?

U cannot expect Eid holidays in such countries because they were never planned that way. Thete was nothing like islam there. It is liberalism and greed that allowed the high proliferation of islam in such countries today. Still they celebrate and observe their religious obligations and celebrations freely and of course build mosques to worship.

Is that d case in these countries that ban even Christmas Celebrations? Did d minority Christians ask for holidays? Still they cannot practice their beliefs free of harassment, why is that?
