This happened moments ago at Aba main park.
According to reports, four Soldiers Were busy beating a protester and on the process one of
the army officers’ gun fell off and a protester made away with the AK 45
As at the time of this report, the Gun is yet to be found.

The atmosphere in the city is still tensed and the protest is still ongoing despite heavy police,
Army clampdown on protesters. So far about 2 protesters have been shot dead by the security

To hell with you and everything you stand for. You have the right to protest but i don't? Who told you i have to take permission from anyone before associating or moving around my land? Who are you? Your skin na metal?
Tell your soldiers to keep shooting. Any day they refuse to kill an innocent man in the East, may you never find peace.

You are cruel. Why should they ban protest?
Where is the rule of law?
You are so cruel because your hatred for Igbos has made you blind that you couldn't find fault on the said banned protest.
Hypocrite

So forcing other citizens to join you, forcefully closing businesses, causing air pollution and destroying public properties means peace to you right?

You are one of the dumbass fools the protesters do not want as a compatriot. Have you thought the actions of the authority in Nigeria towards the protesters could lead to a shooting war? Only fool still thinks war of 1967 will replicate itself. In 1967, eastern Nigeria was the war front however in today's fracas all parts of Nigeria shall become a war front.
Hardcore ipob spotted!.. Bro, no war is going to happen in Nigeria, it can never happen. Anybody that takes up atms against the state under the aegis of ipod or whatever you call it will be crushed.

As long as you guys restrict your disruptive protests to Aba and stay off other calm progressive parts of the SE, it's fine. After all it's the economy of Aba that suffers it on the long run. It's too bad however that these useless trigger happy policemen and soldiers keep using brute force on unarmed civilians.

You want these innocent souls to suffer from the same Adekunle Black scorpion induced PTSD you suffer from?

Those replying this shameless bigot...you don't need a soothsayer to tell you he is a yoruba. They lose every sense of reason when Biazfra or Igbo is mentioned.

what you term as war all over the country is killing of innocent igbo men and women scattered all over the country which I think every reasonable person should avoid. The Igbos are in a better millitary preparedness in 1967 than what we have today. In 1967 the political and millitary leadership in the eastern region were solidly behind the secession move, nothing like the SS then, SW was relatively neutral. But as it stand today what we have is some kind individual whose profession cannot be categorically stated but have access to a lot of money to purchase mass media equipments with which he has successfully used to confused some multiple thousand into fight with an organized army. Guy... the only thing that will be different between 1967 and now is the number of innocent and unwilling easterners that will be killed. All the agitation for all these un-thought-out war should be stopped and any "Geopolitical zone" interested in secession should vote pro-secession representatives in 2019. Better to wait 3 years that having 3 million killed...

Not if the protester is a noisemaker n a chest beater. If it's not dementia I wonder why you Biafrans would want Nigerians to be sympathetic to your course after labelling them all sort of names.

The person who picked that gun ( if the news is true) would likely wanna show off his trophy in the next protest, I hope he doesn't cos that might lead to more deaths and outright confrontation.

I guess this is true. The army was on red alert yesterday evening and every car entering or exiting Aba was searched.
