The personnel due for upgrading will undergo officer training or course which usually last for 3 months.And the cadets guys who are still in camp will pass out by Feb.ending or early march.But going by the question my brother asked me i think they may soon call us.We should keep praying for God to make provisions.Let not give up...men ought always to pray and not to lose faith.
What i am certain about is that we will go to that training this year,i was given that assurance by a blood relative who works at the headquarters.Only the DG knows the exact month or day,whereas those in the administration can only tell u that there is still possibility for u to be called,or that your name is in their list.With God i know my name is there.Any other info besides this will be appreciated pls.

yes from my own gathering,i was made to know that we should keep our phones very close,anything can happen anytime since those who has been on training for over six months has gone back to finish the remaining phase of thier training...

As at today,I meet wit one of the shorlisted ditective officer awaiting upgrading..he told me dat the process has started and by next week,they will be going for screening at abuja,he also told me dat once abuja is done wit thier screening,they will call us

I saw an advert concerning DSS recruitment 2017 too for BSC & SSCE holders..... I think is a scam because potential detective that did interview last year are yet to be called.

I intend to be a naval officer (Nigerian navy) currently studying political science education at osun state university and also currently a member of the NMCC(Nigeria mascot cadet Corps) .. so my question is 1) which is better to enrol for with my course(political science education)
2) do dss training cadet train like that of the navy or army
