When El Zakyzaky Was forming a state within a state, you did not petition EU.

When your brain washed youths were blocking the highway built with tax payers money, you did not petition EU.

When your youths were infringing on the right of other road users, you did not remember to petition EU.

When your members and leaders were saying they did not recognise the Nigerian Constitution and the Nigerian State, you had dementia that was why you could not remember to petition EU then.

When Nigerian Govt instilled discipline with brute force, that was when you now remember there is a petition book that can be sent to EU.

Sorry, you are too late.

What happened is a warning to any person or group of persons that are tools in the hands of foreign governments and might want to form a state within a state or destabilise the fragile peace of our nation.

Your mentality is a very sorry one.

We are made to believe that the killings were a reaction to road block. And of course the army took it further to attack their religious center and houses and cemetery. Now you are telling us of "state within a state". Doesn't that imply everything was preplanned and the road block was used as pretext?

What is the definition of state within a state? Does citizens blocking a highway constitutes a state within a state? Were they armed and trying to harm others and the peace? Did they have any intention against the sovereignty of their own country? In their history, and up to this day after they have been killed, have they ever been violent? Have they killed anyone? Have they rejected violence or have they threatened anyone? When their corpses layed naked, we're not the so called Zaria residents complaining of "suffering" from religious ceremonies that looted the dead corpses?

Giving a dog a bad name to hang it is what you have done. And you so arrogantly speak as if you're doing so from a position of power to threaten others. I wonder how these people following their beliefs amount to being tools in the hands of foreign governments. How? If citizens break the law, is there no other way to arrest them and make them face justice in court? Where is the police? Are extra judicial and random killings what you call "warning"? To what end and to who? In a democracy and under the rule of law, your words sound bush and jungle.

.. As much I condemn the massacre by the Nigerian army, the question nobody has been able to answer is; what was the reason why those guys blocked a federal Highway? What were they protesting about? Why didn't they just allow the army chief to pass after so much persuasion from the military officers who were seen pleading with them in the video? What did they intend to achieve by blocking the road and insisting that they wouldn't allow the military chief to pass? I condemn the military action but I also condemn the actions of the Islamic sect, you don't practice religion on the highway, there are better ways of making their grievances known, if they had any. Having a direct confrontation with constituted authority can only have one effect, unfortunately the outcome is not usually palatable

You are just a pathetic soul that is mentally lazy.

Take time to read up on the activities of the group in the last 15years and how they have been constitution nuisance to the society.

They block roads indiscriminately in the name of having religious procession, denying others the right to use the same road.

The same group erected structures within their compound without govt approval, contrary to the law of the land.

To make matter worst, the same Group through their spokesperson that I heard with my own ears said they do not recognise referendun Nigerian State and the Constitution, they only recognise the teachings of the Quran. That is an affront of the highest order on the constitution itself. Any group that wants Theocracy should go to Iran.

You cannot become a law to yourself within the Sovereign state.

Extrajudicial killings my foot!!! What is a religious group doing with daggers, machetes and guns? Take time to watch the martial art training on YouTube. They were gradually up scaling their activities into an Hezbollah kind of group. That is a fact.

There has been several reported cases of harassment of police, road safety and citizens by the same group, even killings were reported. So what are you saying.

They only met their match in the Nigerian Military, which is the wrongest institution to take on at this point in time. What right do they have to block the road that day? If the group cannot allow a COAS to pass, guess what would befall ordinary citizens that might want to pass that road that day.

Your sentiments and emotions are mere reactionary tendencies, when you are done, take time to look at the obvious facts on ground and make the right sound judgement, if you have the mental acumen and capacity to.

If the same COAS has been murdered that day by this seemingly lawless group that does not respect our constitution, we will all be rubbishing the same Army. Army is not meant to be civil and they are never civil anywhere in the world. Take them on at your own cost and peril. If it was Nigerian Police, I can be in agreement with your phantom extrajudicial killing theory.

all that you have stated about them that is wrong is wrong. but two wrongs do not make a right. that is the difference between you and others who do see their wrong actions, but yet still oppose extra judicial killings, massacre, heavy handed use of force, and "teaching people lessons" through bullets.

they block roads, and so do many religious groups, before and after the zaria killings. have the others been killed? no. or maybe, not yet. and if not yet, that is why people are not in support of killing for road block.

talking about respecting the constitution, how many of the northern Muslims, be they Sunnis or Shias, do have the education to respect constituted authorities, or see the constitution as above their religion? well, very few. they can hold whatever opinion, as far as they do not harm anyone.

your accusation that they have killed, must have gone unreported or you are trying to sound dramatic. it is either they did kill someone or they did not. do not say even killings were reported. please bring your evidence. if they had done any such, people expect for such to be widely reported. i have not come across it. the video you are talking about on youtube, you even cited it as covering their "MARTIAL ART" training. i do not understand how martial art amounts to military training or having a militia in the land. it doesnt add up. many churches have boys scouts that are trained in martial arts as extra curricular activity. even in school martial art lessons are given. lest we accuse every church and school of forming a military arm.

if those guys had gone against the law by blocking the road, then after the road was forcefully cleared, why did the army later regroup and return to storm their religious center filled up with people attending a religious ceremony, and then also storm the house of their leader and the cemetery? i do not understand this. there may have been people in those places that had no idea about any road block, and only being at the wrong place in the wrong time cost them their lives. this can unfortunately happen to anyone. anyone can be made to pay the price for simply being associated in belief or religious practice with a few zombies who take law into their hands. we should not mix up the facts to justify gross killings. we should fear God as human beings. both sides have made mistakes, and the civilian side has been made to pay dearly. over-flogging issues and piling blame and accusations on them would not make everyone happy. a peaceful resolution should be reached, and dialogue and reconciliation should be done to heal the wounds and also correct the past mistakes by both sides for reoccurrence not to happen elsewhere or anywhere.
