President Barack Obama made history as the first a American a President to visit a mosque publicly while in power .

While on his first visit in the mosque as a President , Obama thanked American Muslims for helping their community . He declared Islam as peace and reminded all who cared to know how his administration had smoothened Muslim/U.S relations . It could be recalled that Obama' s achievements include: closing and agreeing on a nuclear deal with Iran, improving ties with Indonesia and ending both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is not saying that Obama did not have issues of his own on treatment of the same Muslims who preaches he loves .
