Buhari has redeemed Nigeria’s image – Shehu Sani The senator representing Kaduna-Central senatorial district, Shehu Sani, says President Muhammadu Buhari has redeemed the image of the country in the international community. He was reacting to a report that President Buhari dented the image of the country by allegedly referring to Nigerians as criminals during an interview he granted to a UK-based newspaper, Telegraph, on February 5. In an article on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, Sani asked Nigerians to accept the explanation given by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, that President Buhari did not call Nigerians criminals. The President’s spokesperson had, in a statement on Tuesday, said the President never called Nigerians criminals and that his comment was misinterpreted. Sani maintained that contrary to the allegation, President Buhari’s leadership style has removed Nigeria from the list of the most corrupt nations of the world. He said, “President Buhari has denied calling Nigerians ‘criminals’. This denial should be accepted by all and the matter should be put to rest. Amplifying this issue would only continue to cast us in bad light. Buhari has come to stay. He only called some nigerians criminals which is 100% correct. we have to accept it, we need leaders that can say the truth in any situation. any body that is angry that he called some nigerians criminal must be one of them. |

When Shehu criticizes Buhari' wailers will start praising him even offering him Wailers form as a man that knows and says the truth When He praises Buhari, he becomes a zombie that is not fit to rule a local government,....isn't this hypocrisy? When Buhari call some Nigerians criminals, wailers will shout that no president condemns her citizens openly, that he is damaging our image, When the National Assembly openly condemns our budget for irregularities they hail the move forgeting that this same image is damaged also.......can't NAS secretly point out errors in the budget, and direct the executive to make immediate corrections to keep the country going, Instead of playing politics with it.
