Nigeria is about to have some really cool real estate projects located in Lagos and Abuja.

Driving through Lagos state, it is quite obvious that there are some really cool buildings.

However, things are about to get even better, due to the following projects the government is working on.

Abuja Centenary City- Located in Nigeria's capital, this is a project set to mark the 100 year anniversary of Nigeria. Upon completion, it will have a central business district, a financial centre, a museum, cultural centre, world-class hotels, business and technology parks, residential districts, an 18-hole golf course, sports and leisure facilities, more. This $18.5 billion project should be ready in the next ten years.

World Trade Centre- This is also located in Abuja, and has a 2016 completion date. This project has seven towers, made up of a 38-storey hotel building and six 24-storey commercial offices and residential towers. It is worth N200 billion.

Abuja Millennium Tower- Also situated in Nigeria's capital, it houses a Cultural Centre , Millennium Tower and the National Square. Work started on the tower in 2006 and was completed in 2015, however, the cultural centre is still under construction. Upon completion it will be the tallest artificial structure in Nigeria. This project is worth $333 Million.

Eko Atlantic City- This is located in Lagos state. It is expected to house 25 million people and has a $6 billion price tag. Clinton Global Initiative ( CGI) describes it as, "an environmentally conscious city, built with nature to restore an original coastline and to protect Victoria Island , Lagos, from the severe risk of ocean surge and flooding."

Lekki Free Trade Zone- This last project is located in Lagos state and is worth $700m.
