In her continued Quest to advocate against Rape and Abuse in Africa, Foluke Daramola-Salako has engaged in various campaigns both locally and internationally, under the Umbrella of her Organization Passion Against Rape and Abuse in Africa (PARAA).

The award-winning NGO is organizing a Symposium to Celebrate Motherhood and it's Significant Values. The Symposium is bill to hold on Monday, 15th of February, 2015; and venue is, the Magnificent LTV 8 Premises, Agidingbi, Lagos.

The event will also play host to Commemorate the live and time of Late Nollywood-Kid Actor, David Olamide. The 14year-old award winning Actor died on January 18, 2016, at Ikeja General Hospital after sustaining a fatal abdominal injury while playing football.

Because Domestic violence is widespread and shows no signs of lessening in Nigeria. PARAA reports 2 in every 4 respondents admitting to being a victim of domestic violence.

The survey also found a nationwide increase in domestic violence in the past 3 years from 21% in 2011 to 30% in 2013.

Domestic violence takes many forms including physical, sexual, emotional, and mental. Traditionally, domestic violence is committed against females. Common forms of violence against women in Nigeria are rape, acid attacks, molestation, wife beating, and corporal punishment.

PARAA is leaving no moment devoided in curbing rape and domestic violence in Africa.

Keynote speakers for the Events are:
Dr Joe Okei Odunmakin who will be speaking on national issues and the essence of remodeling the youths and motherhood.

Orator and Educationist, Olukayode Salako Will be speaking on Youths and Education.

Titilayo Oshodi will be speaking on Etiquette the value and how to re-orientate the youths mentally to prevent them from being corrupt and disillusioned.

Foluke Daramola-Salako will be speaking on youth values and Nollywood.

There are performances and entertainment to thrill the audience, as interaction with the press is cuddled with over 10 secondary schools.
