The Supreme Court on Friday 13/2/16 explained why it affirmed the election of Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party as the governor of Rivers State on 27/1/16. SUPREME COURT REASONS The apex court held that both the APC and its candidate in Rivers State in the April 11 poll, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, failed to prove their case of malpractices and non-compliance as required.
