Hi all, I recently lost 26kg....just here to share my story...to help others who may be going through same struggles I did den...stay wt me as I take you through it all....
At 20 I weighed 83kg......I started gaining it at 11 or 12....and for as far back as I can remember..I had wanted to loose d weight since I started gaining it....but hw to do it....I didn't know...I was also short....dat didn't help matters...I looked twice my age..I looked like an elderly woman among my friends....my skin was badly stretched and damaged, not to mention the cellulite...i was contantly fatigued and hungry despite that i was eating anything and everything at the time..my clothes never fit or looked like sacs...I felt bad...den I started dieting...all sorts of diet....lemon diet, pineapple diet, popcorn diet, pawpaw diet, water diet....as you may be guessing right now ,...none worked...I went from one episode of frustration and disappontment to another...I developed low self esteem and inferiority complex...it was horrible...until I went on a special diet...name? "No diet"...I realized most of these diets were just fads...they don't work and most importantly ..they don't give long term results...so I hit the internet and looked within myself and did a lot of research until I found what worked for me interms of diet and exercise ...and then I developed my weight loss regimen...which made me 26 kg lighter with divine intervention of course....i have kept the weight off for close to 2 years now....pls stay with me as I take you on my journey...suggestions and contributions are welcome

Like I said earlier....my weight loss wasn't a quick fix....I lost dat 26kg in a year or even more....it may seem like a lot but its the best...quick fixes are never the answer because those quick fixes do not polish your eating habits...neither do they change your mindset...u just keep ending up right where you started.

The first thing I did was to analyse my eating habits...most people know deep inside of them what the culprit of their weight gain is...for me ..it was sugar plus I was a constant munchie....I loved eating all the time...n trust me I ate whatever I layed my hands on....so first step...I found ways to curb my sugar addiction and my constant munching...for the first one month I decided to go cold turkey on sugar and sugary stuffs and junk(anything made with white flour)

It wasn't easy...but I had a goal...the success of your weight loss is highly dependent on your goals...I aimed for overall health and not weight loss..this helped me keep my determination and focus and prevented me from hopping on the scale every morning to see if I had lost any kgs

It wasn't easy...I missed my lunch gala and cupcake...I missed my yoghurt and viju n the exhilarating feeling of chilled carbonated drinks...I missed my indomie too...but I Had a goal....all I needed to do each time was to imagine d havoc dos foods cause in my body each time I take dem...imagine being diabetic or hypertensive at such age... this is not to say that the first one month was perfect...there were certainly falls here n there...but a loser is not one who fails...its one who fails to continue...after each of such falls...I pardoned myself and continued with my healthy eating goals the next day

For dat first one month ...nothing happened...but I didn't give up....as the month went by...I started feeling better...cleaner n healthier....my pimpled face started clearing up too...remember all I did was stay away from sugar and junk...I was still eating d normal rice, amala yam n co plus I was drinking a lot of water.... I hadn't raised a foot in the name of exercise

After that month...my clothes started feeling loose...huh finally....I was excited to say d least!
........to be continued
please guys forward yor Suggestions and contributions
