Many people today tend to justify why they mark Valentine's day like it's one of the annual events marked everywhere in the world. For some it's the opposite. They come up with a funny or crazy excuse not to reckon with why others do. I'm in this category but believe me, my reason ain't crazy or funny. Val's day only reminds me of an ugly breakup with an ex (I wouldn't want to bore you with the details). So feel free to share, why you are or aren't marking the day. 18+ only  1 Like 2 Shares |

I've had many joyous occasions celebrating valentines day in the past with many gifts thrown my way from the age of 14 lol. I think as I've grown older (30 this year) the same appeal doesnt hold it weight with me anymore. I don't hold anything against others that do celebrate it, I am just personally over all that razzmatazz. Plus I seem to look at the expense n field day shops have with it lol, I would rather my partner save his money for something of more importance that we may need, than splash out on one day, that holds no significance to me. 1 Like |
