Reports reaching us from Lokoja in Kogi state says speaker of the House of Assembly Hon MomohJimoh Lawal has be impeached by just 5 members out of the 25 members of the house of assembly.


It is sad that a lot of unconstitutional and illegal activities have taken place under the Yahaya Bello-led government. It will be better if the governor stop instigating crisis in the state.

He should also know that no matter how long it takes, those who are willfully flouting the laws of the land and engaging in anti-democratic actions will come to justice. Nothing in the world will justify the subversion of the Constitution by anyone.

AYB should, for the sake of peace put a leash on his dogs of war and not set Kogi ablaze over his narrow interests.
