look, all you holier than thou scammers here as far as I'm concerned, you're all possibly part of the same network looking for firearms to supply militants or armed robbers. Typing on the internet doesnt remove you from suspicion. And just for the record, having a gun isnt a 100% surefire protection against armed robbers. If you think it is, then good for you. Guns will deter some of them, but if and when you have something they really want, or if your enemy puts out a bounty on your head, even a tornado wont save you. |

I think there is a thread for "actors" and "wimps", somewhere around here. Tpia can just take a stroll and find somewhere more comfortable for his "bleeding heart" till the day "reality decides to teach him a lesson"  Lastapage. Hanooo, I will do the legwork 4u though l have to sit down with the oldman, one-on-one. Cant do it on the phone since l've not seem him since March or thereabout! He will likely ask me a few "eye-ball" questions about what l intend to do with the info l am asking him (God forbid he thinks my life is being threatened or blackmailed!) He is such a stickler for details but l will find time to pay him a visit at home. From what l understand, every Igbo man living in the North acquired a gun after the last "Ethnic riots" in places like Kaduna, Zango-Kataff, Jos e, t.c and today, Police declared they killed 50 Sharia militants! in Bauchi! Fifty human lives!! While l dont trust the Police one bit, l would hate to be a "defenseless victim " of any pogrom! Cheers. |

It is appalling how all you spineless fatherfuckers are decrying the OP quest for info. Like most countries gun ownership in Naija is optional. If you no want am no buy am, simple. I live in the suburbs of a US state where the police response is fairly good (i.e. they have gasoline in their squad car, they have bullets in their weapons and they are sworn to protect and serve), but I work in a rough part of town and so does my wife. There are now more than usual carjackings, muggings and sexual assaults. I can't be shadowing my wife 24/7 and neither can the police so she now carries a "midnight special" a.k.a a snub-nosed .380 Smith & Wesson under the state's Concealed Carry laws. It at least gives her a fighting chance when accosted. While I believe no amount of property is worth dying for, my family's welfare and my dignity as its protector is on the line and my firearm is a great equalizer. If and when I do decide to make Nigeria home for more than a few weeks, I would be asking the same question the OP is. |

Lastpage, i subscribe to ur view but don't be surprise how our people reason. they don't reason well until they and their so call love ones become a victim. all amounted to being a coward. there is nothing wrong in possessing a firearm individually afterall the so call armed robber got theirs somewhere. if police can fail in their duty to protect innocent citizen and the citizen agree to go extra mile to render the little they can at their own expense while not give them the free hand. |

Hmmmm,, what will some people do, if they had a gun or have access to one today? Does this remind me of "some Armed Policemen who waylay and rob people on the Highway??  I am not surprised, some people cant even trust themselves, less others!, some of these scumbags cant even be trusted to sleep in the same room with their daughter! @ Poster: where are you located ? It is easier to get a gun both in Nigeria and in the U.S, depends on where you located. I can't speak to Europe, In the U.S. you can purchase guns at a Gun Show without I.D. In Nigeria, you can purchase guns ____ and you have to make sure u're untraceable. |

But that idea comes in handy too if i was to purchase a gun that belongs to that stupid prohibited list. Hanoobaba: In Nigeria, NOTHING IS ILLEGAL. There is no license in Nigeria, im sorry. In the US, I know permits can be obtained depending on what you intend to use the gun for. Hunting or otherwise. In Nigeria, I don't know if there's a legal way to obtain a gun. I know you get one and just make certain that you are untraceable. Goodluck in your search. |

If u dont have a serving police officer of reasonable rank, it might be easier to pass tru d eye of a needle! Dont trust rtd police officers or anybody claiming to be somebody! U'll only get into trouble! On d oda hand, u can do it on d down low, and get it in d hood, but it depends on what you want? Dependable handguns are really scarce, but rifles are everywhere!
