The name Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has come up in the international circle again over his activities during the 2015 presidential elections which unseated him.

The Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars in the United States (U.S.) has hailed former President Goodluck Jonathan as the leader that provided the best moments for democracy in Africa in 2015.

In its “The Year in Review” report for 2015, the Centre highlighted Nigeria’s 2015 elections and praised Jonathan’s classy role in ensuring a smooth transfer of power in Nigeria, which “became a big confidence boost for Africa’s mass movements for democracy.”
The assessment was contained in two perspectives on elections and implications for Africa and U.S. – Africa relations presented by a democracy activist, who is the current Executive Director of the African Immigrants Caucus (AIC), Mr. Nii Akuetteh and Senior Researcher with the Think Tank Initiative for Public Policy Analysis (IPPA), Mr. Olusegun Sotola.

Akuetteh, who praised Jonathan for the position he took against violence and commended him for saving the day by conceding to his challenger, President Muhammadu Buhari and pledging a smooth handover of power, stated:

“Unquestionably, Nigeria’s recent embrace of democracy and Jonathan’s classy role define Africa’s most important and uplifting story of 2015. Africa and the world should give thanks.”

Jona tried by not engaging in any unintelligent rough play with the handover. That is quite unlike desperate African leaders.

But in governance he was an ineffectual buffoon who allowed some mofos to have a free run with public funds.

These oyinbos are denigrating us at every opportunity. Every commonsensical steps taken by Africans look strange before them as if Africans are subhuman. Clinton handed over to Bush, who eventually handed over to Obama that's going to hand over to whoever wins the next America election, would never be a news because Oyinbos are superhuman with special brains.

GEJ did well but what he did wasn't special to be worthy of accolade except if we all want to agree that Africans are subhuman who are not capable of doing the right thing.
