Am a humanist-atheist and I don't see anything wrong in marrying a christian or muslim, but I discover most religious folks av problem with one being an atheist. Is that what religion preaches?

Once I had a boss who is an atheist..all of my bosses, he's one of the best boss I ever worked with.we talked abt everything except religion..he was very supportive to all his ppol & such a down to earth man..I always told him that I will never gonna find a boss like him ever again..

what of those that are not maried,those that mean they are not whole?.....not everyone will get maried..so this mariage making one whole is overrated..it is nice to get married if you wish,if not ..nothing do you....getting married. Is not a big deal...staying married for life is....who says an atheist or muslim can be your better half?...it has not yet been proven that two christains getting married last than other religions...just follow your heart...man propose God dispose

Really, think again. If you are an atheist,your father is the Devil. Period. He is the father of muslims and all other faith. Yeah,scoff,but we all serve a god. No one is exempt. I mean No one.

That's what this humanism thing is all about: manufacturing our own goodness (righteousness), independent of God. The delusion is that, when faced with God's standard , the humanists fires back "I can be good without You",
so who needs God to live right?
That's deception right there. Pride, self righteousness is lurking in their heart!
When in hell,they'll be wandering how they got there,after all they were so good and lived right?!
But beneath you see stinking pride that made them to big to accept the atonement for their sins.

The bible says you should be as smart as serpents and study to show yourself approved. It also says "Think..". Christianity is not a religion for dimwits , people who'll get pregnant for a pastor just because he's a man of God.

Its not about tolerance . Its about prudence . I respect marriage a lot and think it should be done with the right partner . An atheist for me as a christian , only if God says so , is not the right partner . We wont think the same way , there is no understanding . I relish reading stories or seeing Christian marriages built on the principles of Christ and His kingdom .

A major part of our marriage together would be about trying to covert the other to his/her side . There could be issues that should involve spirituality as a solution and she would waiting for a non-existent rational solution . I can't deal with that . God has been , is , will always be the answer .

As a good smart christian I hope she'd be , we will grow spiritually and intellectually , stronger than ever .
