The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) this morning in Ohafia declared the Senatorial re-run election which took place in Abia North on Saturday inconclusive. According to the Returning Officer for the election, the result was declared inconclusive following thecancellation of over 40,000 votes as a result of election malpractices and inconsistency which affected the most parts of Ohafia and Umunneochi LGAs. There were reports of Widespread ballot snatching by thugs in Ohafia and Uumunneochi and Parts of Arochukwu. More details to follow http://www.igberetvnews.com/757 |

kahal29: Orji Kalu and his wayo. Imagine, the PDP candidate won in four out of 5 LGA's. Kalu's nearly 25,000 votes came from Bende his LGA. The man is an unstable character and probably a front for the APC. He will most likely decamp to the APC. Abia peiple should reject him. 1 Like |
