(1)In the fight against BH,pmb has clearly defeated the sect and has shown he is miles ahead of the fisherman and Yar'Adua combined.
(2)On the fight against corruption, the verdict to me hangs on the Saraki trial. If paraventure Saraki escapes a guilty verdict by playing round the presidency for the 2nd time, then PMB will not get a pass mark,no matter the other people that might be convicted.
(3)On the economy, its not looking too good, but it may get better, certainly not immediately. The truth is that things wud have been more horrible if the ineffectual buffoon had been in the saddle, but that is no excuse for PMB not to find a quick, drastic solution to the problem.
I have no doubt that PMB is the right man, several times over, was God sent and will come good with time on the economy.
Its just that nature, for the second time in his career has dealth him a very horrible hand.
When sane minds now also factor in that the corrupt élite have hired forces fighting against him using their massive, stolen funds, that there is a sizeable, freightening bunch of youths bereft of ability to think objectively and able to comprehend issues dispassionately, added to tribal and ethnic compromised souls, one gets to appreciate why all people of good conscience must stand with PMB to come out good.
If we miss it with PMB,then its good night Nigeria.

Mr president's approach to certain issues do not sit well with me. But I recognise that he has his own principles to play by. Should it play out well, glory him-- and if it fails, then we can vilify him.

But until then, I'm just gonna watch, motivate, and criticize constructively where applicable. Buhari is for the meantime, Nigeria is forever!

I wish him well and hope that a lot changes for the better for country and people!

This thread becomes inevitable, given the current backlash and vents of frustrations from the Minority Voters and some people who have been displaced from their sources of "livelihoods" by the Change of government at the Center and the current stand of Mr. President on accountability...

Recall that during the campaign period, the three pillars of Buhari' Promise Were: Security (Boko Haram), Anti Corruption War and The Economy..

Let's us examine these three Pillars, on how Mr. President is faring on the above Mentioned indices:

1. Security (Boko Haram):
When Buhari assumed power, the activities of Boko haram were on all time high..In fact, it was documented that Boko haram was occupying about 14 Local councils, this is in spite of the late push by the infamous and corrupt of government of Jonathan in early last year...

Now fast forward to 8 Months after, Boko haram has not only been defeated and cleared off the Councils, they have not been able to stage any attack for the Past 2 Months...

How did Buhari Achieve this feat and what were the initial reactions from the Wailers and critics alike?

When Buhari started this war against this evil in the North East, we could recall that he embarked on regional tours, to gather support from the neighboring countries, in order to have a coordinated and smooth approach on the war against Boko Haram. At this time, Nigerian Army was being reorganized, rearmed and re oriented on the new approach to the war... by President Buhari who equally is a retired Army General and a war Veteran.

However, when this planning was being put together by the Security team led by the indefatigable Mr. President, Boko Haram who had sensed that their time was coming to an end, embarked on last minute, wanton destruction and Killing of soft targets...it then looked like no progress was being made on the War...while the Buhari's government was assuring Nigerians the War was almost over, that Boko Haram had been technically defeated...
The wailers, the haters and those who never wished him well from day one...shouted him down calling him incompetent, 'Dullard" and other unprintable names... But now the eggs are on their faces...The President, The Nigerian Army and the patriotic Nigerians have won the War...

2. Anti Corruption War: This is another area, Mr. President has continued to receive accolades from far and within on his Vigorous approach on war against corruption...
The mighty, and the low, the generals and the ranks and files, The Father and The Son are all mingling freely in Kirikri and other jail yards, awaiting their days in court... Buhari Promised looters hell on earth...and hell, they are seeing.., Billions are being recovered daily.. Foreign countries who hitherto were reluctant and unwilling to repatriate Abacha's loot because the ones returned were relooted by the cronies of Past administrations are now doing so... Promised Kept!

Meanwhile for those who think, the cases in court now would drag forever like the Cases of Orji Uzor Kalu, Chimaroke Nnamani, etc..Sorry to disappoint you!! There is a new act passed by the 7th Assembly, to fasttrack Criminal cases, Known as The Administration Of Criminal Justice Act 2015-The Silent Revolution grin...So like the election petition Cases, The criminal cases are now being heard on day to day basis...

How did Buhari Achieve this and what were initial reactions of the Same set of people who wanted Buhari to fail from day one?

When Buhari embarked on tour to some International countries pleading that they help in tracing and possible repatriation of the monies stashed by past governments officials in their countries...
What were the reactions of Wailers and some critics then?.."Buhari should name names or shut up" "Nobody stole anything" "Why are they not being arrested" "Is all witch hunting" etc..
However, like Boko Haram war, they are now silent and covering their faces in Shame...

3. The Economy:

Just like the Boko Haram War, Buhari while working day and night to fix and kick start the economy is being harshly criticized by the same set of people who never believed in his style which has effectively defeated Boko Haram, fighting Corruption without fear and ensuring accountability in facet of governance.
Nevertheless like an astute and detailed administrator, the President has embarked on the following measures to jump start the economy which the benefit will surely start creeping in on or before the Year;

A) A 6.8Trillion Budget which is awaiting passage by the National Assembly.

B) Full Implementation of TSA to ensure availability of funds for the government as at and when due..

C) Rallying OPEC to ensure Oil Price Stability, which has already started yielding fruits..

D. Setting up of Economic Team, which will be unveiled next month.

E. Diversification of the Economy thru Agriculture and Solid Minerals, which will commence immediately the Budget is passed..

Now the Big question is: If a President who effectively tackled Boko Haram that had bedeviled the country for the past 7 years, within 8months of assumption of power, Fought corruption with Zeal and determination that had never been seen before in the annals of the country...Why Do You Think The Same Man Cannot Effectively RESET Our Monolithic Economy Which Is Adversely Affected By The Astronomical Fall In Price Of The Only Commodity That Sustains It?

Therefore, Buhari Is Resetting Nigeria...And We Believe In Him..

May God Bless Us All

Wellsaid. Only fools will fault this.

WAR ON TERROR - As at March 2015, boko haram was controlling only 4 out of the 14 local govts under them, courtesy of the re-invigorated army who received a large catch of the arms consignment ordered for them & up till today, boko haram is still holding large portions of Borno state. This much was revealed by an APC senator from the state & corroborated by the U.S Africom commander in Chad. Also terrorism in Nigeria is not limited to boko haram alone as Fulani herdsmen is also a globally recognised terror group & are currently attacking, killing & destroying in Adamawa, Kaduna, Taraba, Plateau & is currently occupying a local govt in Benue state.
"If the Chibok girls are not rescued, the war on terror would not have been won" - M. Buhari. Feb 2015.

THE ECONOMY - FDI to Nigeria slumped by over 65% in 2015, lack of a meaniful fiscal policy has led to a total collapse of our currency value & we do not have any policy on agriculture & solid minerals to drive any serious diversification of the economy.
Putting round pegs in square holes is not helping investors percrption of Nigeria, the jobs of a civil, electrical & mechanical engineers is given to a lawyer, the job of a geologist is given to a political scientist.

WAR ON CORRUPTION - While giving kudos to Buhari for reinvigorating the anti corruption agencies, but the war against corruption appears to be a war against the opposition if not Lawal Jafar Issah should have been arraigned for prosecution & not released to go home after 'returning' 1/3 of what he stole.

LIVING STANDARD - Nigerians are loosing jobs, earning less & spending more as costs of essential items like rice, beans & pure water rose by at least 30% in the past 6 months

In summary, this regime is currently a punishment on Nigerians.

APC is a scam.

Why won't I support PMB? He has shown zeal and tenacity in fulfilling his electoral promises. He is a million times better than Mr. Jona who obviously didn't have a mind of his own; he was tossed around by women and top brass in government.
No administration is perfect but PMB is performing well above average.
My regards to Alex Badeh and other goons in Kuje Prison.

Nice one. GMB has so far done right and also done wrong by me. if we should take a look at the economy, he has completely failed as at now but in terms of security and corruption he's done really well, 2019 is still 2 years from now, a lot change in those times but for now i stand with buhari.
AND for the wailers can wail from now till eternity, come 2019 if Apc should misfire, i don't know about others but me i will never vote for pdp, i'd rather vote for an unknown party. Never and i repeat never will pdp come back to power with my vote.

The @op, is being silly.

His report on boko haram is false as major defeat of boko haram occurred before this government. Which 14 local government if I may ask? The lga that elections were conducted? In fact Senator Gabai of bornu state lamented that areas previously freed before the election have been reoccupied by boko haram.

saharareporters.com/2016/02/07/only-3-lga-are-safe-boko-haram-borno-state-senator-baba-kaka

On the war on corruption, fine we need to fight corruption. But how come the corrupt ones close to the president are not being questioned.

The president has not told us the source of his campaign funds.

On the economy.. grin cleverly is just being a clown. Buhari himself knows he can't say anything about the economy now.

[b]No one is perfect. Hence the term honest mistake.

My problem with the past leadership is that they've been highly dishonest.

When you use billions to pray for the end of Boko Haram.

When you can have 400 million assigned to you for no logical or disclosed reason, you know the country is hemorrhaging on all fronts.

Mind you these are not matters of propaganda, these are confessions from the mouths of the actors.

The silly youth, who can hardly rub 2 coins together, whose future has been mortgaged would rather fight the man who inherited the vehicle than the man who damaged it.

My take on the nation is that it is doomed for as long as people choose to challenge honesty, transparency, planning and vision.

My conscience would never let me weep for those who are deliberately doing everything to see their country collapse.

Funny, when it collapses, it would collapse on their heads.

The weaklings would be as usual canon fodder.

The strong would become rebel leaders, factional heads and warlords.

Those that are incapable of fleeing, and there would be many, would suffer pestilence and grief.

Their pride would overpower outward confessions. Yet, their sins would live and outlast them.

Nigerians be warned.
