Nigeria's U-23 team just beat Brazil's U-23 team 1-0 in an international pre-olympic friendly match played in Vitoria, Brazil.

Brazil had the complements of most of their key stars like Felipe Anderson of SS Lazio, Fabinho of AS Monaco, Andreas Perreira of Man Utd, Wallace, Gabriel Jesus, Luciano, and a host of others.

Nigeria presented an experimental U-23 side WITHOUT the full complement of our key stars like Success, Ndidi, Iwobi, Iheanacho, Nwobodo, Aminu Umar, Azubuike Okechukwu, Etebo, Savior G., Alampasu, among a host of others.

This is a great way to start this "GOOD EASTER FRIDAY" on the sporting side.

Hopefully, later today, The Super Eagles will do same against Egypt by picking up all 3 points with a good win (or maybe an awesome win #smiles).

From comments so far, Nigerians are not too optimistic of Eagles chances of defeating Egypt. I think this better for the team. It's always when you don't expect much, Eagles tend to surprise all.

Yep, but they should engross more to play tenaciously as a team, not with the aim of displaying their individual prowess if we are to obtain an imperial result against the football match adversary Egypt.

Mikel should consolidate on his veteran dexterity in football to anticipate and evaluate the moves of pharaohs and help organise our back 4 for ideal shielding and also make optimal use of his accurate passes to make both long and short passes when required.

I hope the transfer of captaincy will not induce a negative psychological effect on Musa even if he appeared okay with it.
