Long awaited. We need a sense of direction in this economy. Things are way too uncoordinated, giving room for economic rascality.

However, I hope it won't be like other futile economic retreats in the past.

Fingers crossed cool

So....if I was in charge of the economy....

1.I would sack excess civil servants.....and cut salaries

2.I would immediately spend more money on transport, health, technical education and power...and everyone can fend for themselves, thank you.

3.ALL SUBSIDIES MUST GO.That means that fuel is going to be N150 at official price. That means you pay higher fees for university at least.Sorry...but ba kudi.

4.Taxes would be raised....especially on those with total assets above N20million.

5.Savings,savings and more savings.

6.Tarrifs reduced on imports vital to our industries.

7. Ceiling on dollarised spending....to $200 monthly.(Except for people schooling out of the country).

8.)All government cars...must be made in Nigeria. A freeze on new purchases of cars...except they are made in Nigeria.

The more reason I like this administration is giving avenue to VP to participate fully in aspects.. unlike last one where we don't see VP in any Forum or talking or helping committees.

Critics will not see it as positive change. They are all waiting for magic, when America will planted in nigeria over night. A society where religious and ethic bigotry is the order of the day.

When Professor Wole Soyinka, not an economist, was reported to have canvassed for an economic summit, and the government latched on to it to organize one, the first thing that should have occurred to anyone familiar with our record for economic summits is to ask the question, “Another one?”

You know absolutely nothing about Buhari and you will learn the hard way as the months roll by.

Buhari is aware that Fulani herdsmen (like him) are murdering people daily in many parts of the country.
Buhari knows that emirs are kidnapping Christian children everyday, forcefully converting them to Islam and for their s3xual pleasures!

His refusal to do anything about it borders on connivance and as such an impeachable offence!

You called that woman a failed mathematician. She discovered over 20 thousand ghost worker while savings over 2billion naira monthly. No minister under GEJ has gotten such an achievement.
U Don come again. Who told she discovered 20,000 ghost workers, and if she did; how did she do it. Was it not since GEJ's regime discovered ghost workers? Through IPPIS, goodluck introduced?
Am waiting 4 ur reply.

Weldon Mr President and your Team.
my prayer for you and your government is fervent because you are in a course of resolidifying and restructuring the lost glory and good image of Nigeria!
Yes some class of people are agitating and pointing bad finger at the government. this may probably be so because perhaps they were not in the Know of how worst things were being done in the past or because they are use to doing things in a bad, corrupted and undisciplined way.
As a youth, I explore you to be calmed and support the government with prayers , come to think of the fact that when you have a fracture is not possible to heal it without feeling such pain.!

Thank you all. God bless you, God bless Nigeria.

What we want is Result.

The results you are seeing now was the exam of financial recklessness, impunity, corruption and lack of planning by our leaders (across board). I said in 2015 during the campaign, we will suffer from this dollar sharing and massive looting in future. Now that future is steering at us and people wants instant magic. It would not happen.

Any nation that fail to plan, has planned to fail.

Economic team/retreat without a single Economist nor a financial expert. Mind you, before you mention Kemi Adeosun, first degree in Economics doesn't make you an Economist. So this is a gathering of Nigerian political heavyweights. There is nothing "economic" in this gathering.
