it was gathered that the workers started getting alert from their respective banks on Tuesday evening, ‎bringing to an end, the speculation making the round, about the state government possible failure to pay.

The O'Meal contingent were not to be outdone on the day.
Some civil servants who spoke under the condition of anonymity revealed that the alert of the payment brought to a halt their fear of not getting paid before Easter celebration.
The workers while praying that the economy of the country improved in no time, appealed to the state Governor, Rauf Aregbesola to continue to make their welfare his priority.
‎They however expressed hope that the payment of salaries for the months of February and March would be paid soon.

O-news for the O-people. These people waiting for salary, i can say 90% didn't deserve their pay. They just graced their 'office' few times and discuss their salary payment.

*During campaign*

APC: Young man what are you eating?

Nigerian: Rice

APC: Rice and what?

Nigerian: Rice and one meat.

APC: What are you drinking?

Nigerian: Fanta.

APC: This is bad, you deserve rice and beans with at least 5 meats and your choice drink.

Nigerian: Is that so?

APC: Yes. Make our candidate your cook and we will see to that and more.

APC: Food is ready.

Nigerian: What do we have.

APC: Beans and pure water.

Finally this is what it has come to...that payment of salaries which is d most mundane of government functions has become a newsworthy item!

This is such a great shame to this country. The $200 billion that is on its way from Dubai had better arrive quickly o! No long stories again!

Do you mind those numbskull? Mimiko of Ondo State has never paid his teachers since October last year with his 13% allocation. Delta and Bayelsa have been finding it difficult to meet their salary obligations despite 13% derivation and huge IGR and yet they keep shouting Osun and Aregbe as if that will remove their miseries.

Ondo state is yet to pay November and December 2015 salaries talk less of January. And the state is number six in Federal Allocation.

There is nothing to rejoice for in this, a man that work so hard is worthy of his or her wages, and no man or woman should fear if he or she will get paid after working.

thou this is not suppose to be a news. Oyo is paying full salary n had paid most of it's workforce November salary. Ondo who is No 6 on FAAC is yet to pay November.

The poster and other Aregbe fans shd be ashamed of posting stuffs lyk dis. The fact is dat d guy is stil owing half salaries of abt 1 year meaning dat abt 6month salaries are yet unpaid. Also, receiving Jan salaries when others are expecting March is total nonsensical.
