I really need some inspiration on this thread,is it possible to get this job or any other federal job in Nigeria without having a powerful godfather,considering the limited slots available? If you know someone that did kindly share here to keep others inspired.

All the people I know that have a federal job today had someone that helped them get there,I am waiting for someone to tell me that I am wrong!that people get federal jobs without having "a help".

Exactly. I think the PSC cheated me. I had all my documents complete. I was the tallest on my screening day. (Later found out i was the tallest in my whole state) I was even the youngest (22), don't get me started on my grade i finished from in school. Lo! And behold! People got emails i got nothing. Am disappointed in the system. Is this not what we should want in Nigeria? A very fit young and intelligent officer?

That is my point, how would they know the intelligent and brilliant ones, when most people copied one another even people that can't write a good sentence in English would pass because they copied others. In my own hall, most people copied one another.

Please house, I don't know if anyone here have idea of the training duration for this ASP position, somebody said a year and 6 months... That's 18 months, it does not sound authentic to me, if anybody here has real information about that.. Please feel free to share.
