I would suggest Moses to captain Eagles tomorrow so that history will repeat it self. You know moses is crosser. He will cross Eagles to victory tomorrow . Say Amen |

Who says onazi and etebo can't play together? Yes we are going for a win but need the right defensive midfielders that will help the defence in our moments of pressure We should also not make the mistake of playing iheanacho ahead of ighalo. If victor Moses starts I can assure you that there will be enough holes in the center of the Egyptian defence for ighalo to operate. Mohammed efe oboabona echiejile Mikel onazi Etebo V Moses iwobi Ighalo |

binhozie: Its a blatant lie ,aminu brought more energy and bite to the attack and i see him starting tomorrow. |

safarigirl:That would leave us without strong options in d bench. We must have a quality bench if we hope to make a headway in Alexandria |

I will suggest that Sia 1 should stick to the formation he used in the first leg ....I foresee the Egyptian playing more of a defensive style . I am afraid , Onazi ,maybe careless in that match with his reckless tackle . Let's Etebo play the box-box role he has an eye for goal.... |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by safarigirl(f): 11:36pm On Mar 28, 2016 |
ukandi1:still got Musa and Ighalo on th bench, 2 forwards as subs and on defensive should complete 3. Siasia's mistake was subbing attackers for attackers rather than beefing up th defenc when we were a goal-up and heading to th final minutes. Play your best attacking team, get the needed goals and then sub for defenders 1 Like |

tickles2luv2016:If Aminu brought bite then there was no need for a moses, the point is a sub should have been saved to shore up the defence. I am not against Aminu s non existing impressive performance. I am just saying was the sub a necessity we drew the game partly because Siasia clearly wasn't watching the opponents sub's or was underating them because they had 3 central strikers. We should have countered that I am not against Aminu Umar starting who knows he might be the man we have been looking for don't know much about him besides YouTube to me he looks like a Hausa igboun |

naso2: I am weary about Iwobi playing from the wings and moses simon on the bench, moses simon has been the best player in most matches the super eagles play recently 1 Like |

lexyman: Good man onazi can like to be rough and his careless passes the Egyptians will dive all day in the second leg Honestly till date I have only watched one match Etebo played for a Nigerian national team and Didnt score out of like 6 matches I have seen him play |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by binhozie(m): 12:26am On Mar 29, 2016 |
naso2: Bro when you have the right creative players on the pitch and they are able keep the ball the moments of pressure are drastically reduced it is always better than having plenty ball winners who will give the opponent the ball after winning it back. 1 Like |

safarigirl:Modern days soccer, d best way to defend is to attack. Parking d bus against a technically sound Egyptian team would undo us. Siasia knew it. We must not allow those guys to attack us. |

naso2: And u left out our best player in d team, that is Moses Simon ? U have to tinker with ur team list again |

Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by TheGoodJoe(m): 9:57am On Mar 29, 2016 |
ukandi1: No one said Park the bus. It is not Coach Siasia's philosophy to park the bus but get tighter at the back. When you say Modern day Soccer, do you watch Atletico Madrid play? Atletico Madrid is always disciplined at the back. They hardly concede loads of goals or careless late goals. Hector Cuper of Egypt, made three attacking changes to equalize the match and our reply was to make zero changes to calm the effect of the Egyptian changes. We were careless and played into their hands. If we took out an attacker and brought in a defensive midfielder to shield the defence, we would still have enough ammunition to continue attacking. |

TheGoodJoe: Do you watch Barcelona play Better still have you been watching Barcelona spank Athletico this season Attacking football and possession is how modern teams defend |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:21am On Mar 29, 2016 |
binhozie: Have you watched Atletico Athletico Madrid beat Barcelona? Yes or no. Is Atletico Madrid Under Diego Simeone a modern team? |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:28am On Mar 29, 2016 |
binhozie: What of Leicester City Under Ranieri? I guess you consider their conservative Football pattern outdated. What of games when Pellegrini plays Yaya, Fernando and Fernandina? I guess you will tell me that Pellegrini does not Coach in the modern ways of football. Coach Siasia left us expose. Pulling out Ighalo for Azubuike would not stop the team from playing with attacking purpose and possession. |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by binhozie(m): 1:24pm On Mar 29, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe: Bro you are just associating inform teams with your theories. Nowadays teams lay more emphases on pressing by all players rather having specialist ball winners. Athletico Madrid even play 4 4 2 they press collectively They don't have specialist defensive mildfielders who just break up attack Pelegrini plays all that trash because that's what he has if he had pjanic and verrati two of them will start with one of the black men u mentioned Part of our problem was iheanacho was not pressing enough hassling their defenders and elneny the way trezeguet was hassling Mikel wen he was on d ball Ighalo was trying to press sha. We are in a must win situation we need to go all out and press collectively not have a specialist who snuff people out. And might slow down and hinder the build up to attack. Such an individual can come when we have a lead and want to protect it But naija na naija onazi will prolly start |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:37pm On Mar 29, 2016 |
binhozie: You made it look as if bringing in a defensive midfielder will mean going against the art of modern Football. it is not. Simeone, Pellegrini, Ranieri, in that position would have brought in a defensive midfielder to protect the back four. Coach Siasia made a wrong call. 1 Like |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by naso2(m): 3:09pm On Mar 29, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe: Guy , make una leave Siasia alone. Even if you have 7 defenders but set the wrong offside trap, you suffer. The changes had nothing to do with an amuzie staying over 3 yards away from his man and Ambrose not properly aligning with the rest of the defensive line. It wasn't as if we were really under pressure leading to the goal by Salah |
Re: Predicted Formation For Nigeria To Beat Egypt In Alexandria by naso2(m): 3:25pm On Mar 29, 2016 |
binhozie: I know Moses simon was impressive in kaduna , but I somehow feel his good play did not translate to goodies for the team. I also somehow feel the primary plan of the Egyptian teach will be to cancel out moses simon , so an iwobi will confuse them more. Besides we really need men that can stand even before the intimidating Egyptian crowd, so I am tempted to give priority to players I feel have the necessary big stage "resume". |
