Sone Aluko hangs his boots. Played few games for SE but was outstanding

He was pushed out of the SE because he failed to settle one bullish coach in NFF.

That settlement required bhe change his agent and use the Bulls agent plus consider moving to Turkey 🦃.

Of course he told him where to go and he not allowed to go any further with the SE.

Aluko played for Nigerian U-20 team with Ighalo and co. hope u know that.

He did not progress with the Super Eagles mainly because he was not better than those who progressed with the eagles.
he was not going to keep making the team when we had Mikel and few others who were better.

Everytime any player fails to have a long career with supers eagles is always the same story, that the coaches or the NFF demanded bribe from them or one ridiculous story or another.

Most people who didn't make it with supers eagles are either they were not good enoug or that other players were better than them at that time

oga the principle are never the same, fa cup where most big teams field their academy or 2nd team.

That's an assumption by perception.

If you look at the two EPL teams I mentioned Sheffield Wednesday who beat Newcastle United and Newport county who beat Leicester city it was the complete first team squad.

See below.

LoL I don't agree with that Peckham crackhead but bro Keshi and Amokachi did Aluko dirty. Who were these guys preferred ahead of him? The likes of Babatunde Michael, Gabriel etc? Aluko was impressive in the matches he played for us especially against SA where Omeruo was räped by Tokelo Rantie. Aluko was creative but Keshi would rather pack 100 defensive midfielders than provide a place for Aluko. They did him dirty and that was one of the reasons I didn't like Keshi.

Just pointing out a few for now...

#10 - Simon Cletus. Was in the last U17 under Ugbade's tutelage. The "dada" lad who came on vs Burkinas faso and impressed in midfield with his intelligence and touches.

#11 - Oreoluwa Olawale Agbenla from Beyond Limits FA. Exciting midfield talent.

#8 - Edward Oloche Ochigbo from Sporting Lagos. Decent player.

#9- Rapha Adams. Watch out for this kid. Could be a joker in the team.

#18- Daniel Vowero Arierhi... brother to the exciting Beyond LImits FA top striker, Arierhi Kparobo. Daniel is just as talented and decent.

Let's hope Manu and the crew gets the best out of them at the Qualifiers starting in 4 days.

Tell me the players who were better than him at that time when he was playing in the EPL.

Dont forget that Iwobi got in to the SE at that period without playing a single game for Arsenal in the EPL.

We are country of ingrained, widespread instutional fantastic corruption and you want to white wash the NFF.

What happened to those Ugbade's boys? I mean Divine Ekeh and co?

Olowoporoko is hugely talented and I hope he bags a contract with Betis

Light Eke you mean. Well, some of them still working their way up to Euro deals by continuing their development at their various academies.

For instance, Charles Agada, #11 at the last u17 Afcon, featured at the last Viareggio Cup in Italy for Mavlon FC. Mavlon reached the Semis losing to Brazzaville. Beyond Limits FA emerged Champs. He bagged 7 goals at that tournament where the much talked about Hafiz Umar bagged 10goals. So time will tell on him.

Ifeoluwa Olowoporoku's trial at Betis is a good thing but let's see where it leads. Lad is still so young. Should be part of the current U17 team as well but we move.
