That was how i used to follow the league games. They had highlights of every game like the EPL but it was only done for 1 year. Last season, nothing..

I don't know why they are not doing that, it is just pure laziness.

That exactly how I used to watch the local league. The highlight on Super Sports.

na NTA show the match?
How was the quality?

kentebemoney:

Bros i enjoyed the game, swift counter attacks from both sides but Akwa was just better. This Akwa team with Ifeanyi Ifeanyi + Sunday faleye+ Victor mboma will be extremely deadly.
Did you notice Kelly kester yesterday, great addition to the midfield

Akanji Shuns Manchester United To Sign €21.5m Deal With Borussia Dortmund

Switzerland international defender Manuel Obafemi Akanji has signed a four and half year contract worth about €21.5 million with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

The 22-year old was a reported transfer target for Manchester United but Dortmund made him their first signing of the January transfer window and he’s contracted until June 2022.

The player, of Nigerian parentage, was in Dortmund on Sunday to witness the club’s goalless draw with Wolfsburg and a day later put pen to paper on his contract.

“With his performances, Manuel appeared on the radar of several European top clubs,” Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said on the club’s official website. “We are delighted that he opted to join us.

“He’s shown for his national team and in Champions League that he can play at the highest European level. At the same time, we believe he’s a defender with still a lot of potential for development.”

He said: “I felt good in the talks with the BVB hierarchy. And thus, my heart decided. I have always liked the football played by Dortmund. I am looking forward to my time here, and will give it my all.”

The four-cap Swiss International who impressed during Basel’s Champions League campaign this season is expected to help bolster Dortmund’s leaky defence which shipped 22 goals in just 10 league games until the winter break.

Lack of foresight made us lose him.

Akwa utd has always been a tough nut to crack at the nest of champions so I wasn't expecting anything new. The best would have been a draw for Enugu rangers.
OMANBALA1:

Bros, lets analyze this weekend opening game.

What do you think about Akwa United thrashing of the Flying Antelopes at the NEST of champions ?

I doubt if we can score that much. Maybe 1:0 or 2:1 or ..,... a draw.
BascoVanVeli:

I sure hope so. I predict Nigeria 3-1 Rwanda

Old habits die hard indeed.
Even the Chan team is suffering from the the usual Nigeria first 10-15 lethargy. This lethargy seems to be ingrained in our Dna.
Normal service seems to have resumed after usual 1st 10-15 mins collapse.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Emmanueulj: 8:58pm On Jan 15, 2018
Faleye came close twice. The first hit the bar and the second was one on one with keeper but he saved it.

So far, they are dominating the game.

Ali na real baller.

Great chance wasted again by Nigeria from a free kick to the 18 yard box. Why do we have to such dearth of good free-kick takers in this country?

32' Freekick. Faleye fouled very close to the penalty box. Okoro takes the kick but his effort is blocked. Corner! Nigeria 0-0 Rwanda #TotalCHAN2018 #NGARWA

They are struggling to play. though they have kept better ball possession so far. I guess its because it is their first game.

Another Open net sitter ridiculously missed by our number 10.a sweet crossed was whipped in from the left by our winger, Rwandan goalkeeper fumbles it unto the on-rushing forward but he manages to balloon the ball over the post with the net gaping wide.

It was more difficult to lose than chance than scoring it but he manages to miss it.

For those who think anybody can kick a ball into a net and bury a chance, you see how many these players have missed?

So, the next time we are talking about possible forwards, let us realise scoring a goal no be beans.

Rabiu Ali with a long range shot, hit the bar undecided

Could a landlock country like Rwanda be colder than Nigeria. I don't understand why many of our players are putting on hand gloves unlike the Rwandese
