that weave is attributed to fashion and because we are at the far end of the spectrum, so it is expected we use more of it to appeal to the good hair stereotype.

I am anti-weave by the way however I strive to understand and rationalise reasons women especially black women can't do without it.

I think the problem with African men(Nigerian men mostly) is dat dey dnt appreciate deir own... An average Nigerian man wld tell u he dreams of marrying a white lady. It's now so stereotypical nd hurting that Nigerian men no longer see past the colour any more... The new basis for beauty is skin color...
