Everyone should come and claim personal responsibility. Especially the people the voted for Buhari. The blood of Nigeria's economy is in your hands. Those that personally campaigned for the Nigeria we're suffering today should know that the knife in their their pocket.

But some of us refused to go and vote when the time came, even when they knew what was right.
Some of us we're vocal enough in saying that we knew this would happen before it happened.
Many of us didn't do enough to ensure the economy leaves that hands of the World Bank Vice President, and enters the hands of Tinubu's personal accountant.
Many of us didn't do enough to ensure that the Adesinas, Oduahs, Iwealas, and Ihejirikas that were changing Nigeria were allowed to do the job through the noise

now the noisemakers have overthrown progress. All sides of this country are looking for an escape. Fuel lines expand, and as the government cancels the subsidy and brings it back in a matter of months we've come to realize that in 4 decades of campaigning Buhari never sat down to make a plan.

What was your role in this?
I personally accept that I didn't do enough to convince my friends outside of the east to do the right thing. I foolishly dismissed them as voting out of tribalism, and not ignorance of what's to come.

Buhari administration, big disappointment - Bloomberg

Bloomberg said: “Nigeria’s benchmark stock index has plunged 22
percent since reaching a year-high on April 2, the day after Buhari
was declared the winner of the presidential race against incumbent
Goodluck Jonathan. That’s the third-worst performance globally in the
period, after the bourses in Ukraine and Egypt. The index advanced
12.5 percent in the two days after Jonathan conceded.”

Many filling stations ran dry this month as the government withheld
fuel subsidies to suppliers, preventing them from restocking.
Lengthening lines forced Buhari to ask lawmakers for permission to pay
413 billion naira ($2 billion) in overdue payments, an amount that
hadn’t been budgeted for.

While next year’s budget has yet to be finalized, Buhari wants to
raise spending by 56 percent, according to a person who attended a
briefing on the government’s plans and asked not to be identified
because the matter is private.

So we've all now been so brainwashed as to start thinking the current economic hardships are the fault of the average Nigerian citizen, and not the public officials who have stolen, mismanaged and embezzled our common wealth for several decades?

Voting a candidate of ones choice that turns out to be a catasrophe(e.g. GEJ) is nothing bad, since there is no possibility of seeing the future.

@ Topic. Purchasing imported materials while in NG was my role in damaging the nation's economy. As regard politics, supporting GEJ in 2011. Perhaps, the situation wouldn't have been this bad if it was otherwise.
