Federal government, in collaboration with state
governments within the confines of the extant
Land Use Act, should regulate the grazing of
cattle/rearing cattle by building moderate ranches
across states for cattle rearing in order to stop
these incessant herdsmen/farmers brutal face
offs.
So as it is,normads(Fulani herdsmen)/farmers
clash is not a new problem in Nigeria as it has
been in existence from the era of successive
governments before PMS's.
We should not create,however, the impression
that it's because a FULANI man is at the helm of
affairs as president, hence the purported
'willingness' by the Fulani men(as some allege) to
cause dispute and destabilize the peace and
stability in the country
Additionally,PMB and Governors of the states
mostly affected by this carnage should brace up
with a view to solving this national question.
