That's not weed grass but dried 'karkashi' leaves eaten in northern Nigeria. The karkashi leaves are of two types, this one draws more than the bigger leaves.

We want to know the name of the exact weed, because water leaf (gure in Yoruba) is an edible weed. It's mostly eaten by people from Akwa-Ibom and Cross River states.
