EBONYI PDP FORTHCOMING WARD CONGRESS ON SATURDAY SPARKS OFF CRISIS IN DIFFERENT LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF THE STATE:
Report reaching us says that there is tension and fresh crisis in the Ebonyi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the party's Ward Congress in the state on Saturday, April, 23.
According to the report, the State Youth Wing and some local government chapters of the party are having serious crisis as a result of the executives move to install a new youth leader from Ohaozara LGA (Ebonyi South) to replace the incumbent youth leader who is from (Ebonyi Central), against the wish of the state's youth wing, in addition to the inability of t.he stakeholders of the party to harmonize list of ward executives in view of the forthcoming ward congress on Saturday.
The state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State, Hon.Joseph Onwe is not left out as he has experienced hot challenges, blames and attacks from the aggrieved youths and some other members of the party, for endorsing some controversial and unacceptable decisions made by the state executives of the party during their State Working Committee meeting last week.
