Gabriel Daudu, from central Kogi State, was found guilty of 77
charges, Nigeria's anti-corruption body says.
But the judge ruled that the sentences would run concurrently,
meaning Dauda will only spend two years in jail.
Corruption is endemic in Nigeria and so far the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has only managed to secure
a handful of convictions.
President Muhammadu Buhari won elections last year, promising
to tackle the problem.

If these men are found guilty, why just imprison them or smear their reputations? Most of these politicians have no shame so ridiculing them doesn't help.

Their properties which were gotten fraudulently should be confiscated!

Then again, how impartial are the umpires who should ensure fair play in the Polity?

We need judicial reforms!

Reduced to 2 years. Just 2 years for 77 charges is ridiculous!
