How to use GP Calculator

1. Select "New Semester";
2. Select your unitload
3. enter each course you took for the semester. select the course unitload. And then select the grade you scored for that semester.
4. After entering these, tap "Calculate Button".
5. You will be shown your precise GP for that semester.


Calculating Cumulative
1. Select "cumulative calc" from main menu.
2. Enter your password. default password is 'abc'. The password ensures that only you can see your cumulative gp which is usually stored after calculation.
3. tap 'add semester' and the semester details as described above. However, you must also provide academic session, academic semester and academic level this time.
4. tap 'add this semester' to add the details you entered to your cumulative gp.
5. The semester Gp will be merged with other semesters you have previously entered in the cumulative section, and your cumulative GP will be precisely revealed to you. No matter how long you have been in school.

@Op the app is quite popular in Unilorin but its not the most popular app here by any metrics. Period!. Nevertheless; its accurate and simple to use and whoever made it deserves commendation.

Almost all students in UNN have it, I have it also but I hardly use it, prefers computing my GP manually...


I love the way the app motivates and encourage you after displaying your GP.

I used the app last year. The semester calculation worked fantastic. But when I tried doing cumulative; it asked for a password I didnt know how to get.

A friend later told me it was 'abc' but I had already calculated it myself by computing the semesters individually.

Really nice app with funny remarks after the calculation.

What if the programmer, wrote one application that automatically wrote the others? That's what he told me shaaa.

As it appears, android studio (The IDE for android development) allows you deploy one app with minor changes in strategy, and title. That's how the maker achieved that.

I noticed that too. Think the feature was discontinued in version 2.0 or so. The probably thought every phone has an alarm and there was no need for one.

Just noticed the whatIf feature on the app. I've been changing it, day dreaming of what my GP could have been if my lecturers had been less severe. This app rocks!!!

When an app is free, the maker is paid only when the ads he put in the app are clicked. One click translates to a dollar, but google takes 70 percent, so one click translates to 30cents or there about.
